Learn to Win Arguments and Succeed

Good but Needs a Lot of Work
I am a writer myself and always looking for inspiration or simply views of others on topics I find interesting. I mostly like to listen and analyze the speaker's viewers. The book's approach to address the topic of "Winning an Argument" is more self centred, narrow and narcissistic in a sense. It would have been a very good book if the author explained the topic with more content than "details". Once you've mentioned that we have to repeat our arguments, there is no need to write another page on it to again explain we have to repeat in order to get our points across the opponent—to me, that's just being stubborn and not listening to the opponent. Be it losing the argument, I wouldn't engage with a person who is a poor listener and who's only intention is to "win the argument." I know that it's the premise of the book but I would have enjoyed it more if it were broader, more open minded and stressed on being a better listener than mindlessly trying to overpower the opponent. Not all books are supposed to deliver exactly what they promise. I think this was a good book but it lacked good delivery. I also felt the author's views were very much inclined towards the Indian culture/mindset. So, incase you're looking for a short-term solution without permanent resolution or satisfaction, given it a go, you'll like it. If you are the kind of reader who actually thinks about what is written, just read the headings, you know the rest.I appreciate the efforts put into the quotes in the beginning of the chapters and the "Words of Wisdom" at the end of every chapter. Honestly, they were far better than content in the book. Had you made a book analysing or deeply explaining even about 10 of them (there are 100s in the book) it would make a great book.I have given 5 stars for efforts. I would give 2 for content and 4 for cover design. The author shall be appreciated for the efforts put into writing this book and the research done. There is always room for improvement. I wish the author takes into account all the critical reviews and works on them to produce better works in the future.Al the best!

Decent book
Its a decent book with lots of scearios as in like roleplays and conveys the point quite easily rather than much elaborated and lengthened idea of explaining the overall point! These are points that can be very well used in daily life situations

An Excellent Book To Win In Any Arguments And Succeed
The author Vishal Gupta elaborates about 20 different techniques to win in any argument. The first part that he tells from his experience is that in a conflict, any person would be having at least one point that goes into his favor. The author asks you to keep repeating this point so that the opponent would come back to address this point mentioned by the defender. You can decently agree to disagree that is a diplomatic way of doing business. He tells that if the opponent is unable to counter you he may start abusing you and do character assasination of you. Then Keep cool but point out to the opponent that he doing personal attack and come back to the argument.Be sarcastic and also laugh at the foolish debate of your opponent. The most common way a person can divert the issue at hand is to compare the oranges with apples and when this happens gently point it out to the opponents.Stay calm and stay cool when the opponent starts to personally attack you verbally. If you keep cool others around you would appreciate your point of view and start supporting you.A must have book.

Learn to Win Argument and Succeed is a holistic book and covers a versatile set of situations and offers amazing solutions. Be it family, friends, office, relationships, or any situation this book offers great advice for almost every situation. The best part is that author has filled the book with real-life examples that make this book authentic and practical to put to use.I loved this quote “An argument is to find out who is right, and a discussion is to find out what is right”Definitely a recommended read.

Libro amatoriale
Il libro sembra davvero amatoriale, e, in mia opinione, non molto adatto alla cultura europea.

Overall good advice, but the advice is very simple
I liked the book but the advice was very simple. I feel as though a lot of the advice provided I already knew and I was looking for content a little deeper. Regardless, if I was asked if I would recommend this book I would respond with a "yes".
