LIght weight. You can hold it with one hand or mount it to a tripod.
I have wanted one of these for a long time and finally broke down and bought this one. I am very happy with this product. It has a place in my truck seat and in my boat when im on the water. It makes it so much easier to watch the wild life all around me. Thank you so much for a good value and good quality product for a reasonable price.

Ok scope
So far this has been a good scope.the o ly thing i would like is better eye relieve. I sometimes have to hold scope to push eye in close enough to see. I would rather be hands free when i have guns in my hand to watch where i am hitting.

Ok. Clear picture but hard to see with glasses. This scope is VERY lightweight. You would need a lot better tripod than the one that comes with it if you were to put a camera on it.

I like the spotting scope but the camera/ phone attachment leaves a lot to be desired. Tripod feels cheaply made.

Use it on my mule deer hunt in Oregon. It was a great tool to spot and stalk. It helped me cover a lot of ground without actually walking it

I was asked to write a review of this spotting scope by the suppliers. Now that I have had time to use and thoroughly evaluate its performance, I am more than happy to accommodate them. After visiting our local nature reserve to view Ospreys that had stopped over for a short while as part of their migration south. I knew I needed a decent spotting scope. There was another gentlemen in the hide where we were viewing from who is what I would call a proper bird spotter. He allowed us a look at the Ospreys through his Swarovski spotting scope. Wow! If you have the money this is the standard of scope you want. However there is no way I could justify or afford this quality of scope. So I decided to research to find the kind of scope I could afford. Amazon is a good place to start for that. I'm a keen photographer so I know the difference good glass makes. I also went into my local camera store to try out some of their scopes. Basically I established that I needed a scope that had up to a 40 magnification, had at least a 60mm objective viewing lens to get the light in and not be to big. My preference was for ED glass because the ones without it suffered at times from chromatic aberrations. It would definitely have to be nitrogen purged which would stop it misting up and would mean it had some kind of sealing from the elements. The BNISE HD was the eighth scope I tried from different sources. Quite a lot of effort you might think. But I wanted to get this right and get a scope that I was really happy with. The pros: This scope was good value, light in weight, nitrogen purged, surprising good optics considering it doesn't state that it has ED glass only Hd. Very good resolution and good contrast image. Well controlled chromatic aberrations (purple fringing). Up to 60 times magnification. There is a handy extendable hood to help prevent flare and protect the front element. Cons: The casing is made of plastic, so is not as robust as the expensive rubberized metal models. However if you look after your gear it should be fine. I will protect mine with something suitable. There is on one focus adjustment knob and no second fine adjustment knob. Just takes a bit of getting used to. Overview: There is a small tripod and some adaptors to attach other equipment to the scope supplied. The tripod is pretty basic but functional for certain situations. The scope easily attaches to other tripods with a standard 1/4" bush mounted. Overview: There are a lot of scopes in this category that look the same. This one from

The scope is good quality, surprisingly light to carry, and good at 20x and 40x but straining a little at 60x. There are no instructions whatsover as to how to use the attachments, hence my dropping one star. It is good fun to use, once you learn the exact distance your eye needs to be from the eyepiece, and how to adjust the focus. I am watching yachts by day, in very bright sunlight, and stars at nigh. Solid yet lightweight tripod also very good. Carrying case useful. I think it is good value for the money.
