Whoohoo ... I am loving this thing. So I've been playing guitar for many years now, and I recently got a high-quality effects rack. Playing through the computer, I no longer need an amp (a hundred amp/cabinet combos at the touch of a button) but what I do need is a speaker. Line out xlr to a powered speaker - that's all you need. It is lightweight easy traveling. Guitar/Rack/Speaker - you can carry it all in one trip. Oh technology is amazing. And this speaker is great !!!! Better than great, it has 2 xlr channels and a 1/4 inch input, Seperate volumes that go loud enough to be heard over the drummer. Also provides a clean sound for playback. Extremely happy with this purchase.

Product played music at a good volume, but microphone volume could only be heard at full volume. Inadequate for a dance hall.

I have another similar powered speaker that I use every week. I am a pastor and also provide pastoral care in several nursing homes on a weekly basis. I started using a small powered PA system that I carried every week to the nursing home services. That was getting tiresome every week, and I wanted another so I that could just leave one in each nursing home so I would have it every week without schlepping it around all the time. I saw this small Gemini speaker and the price was right ( since things have a habit of 'walking away' in nursing homes). It is not a super high quality rock band fronting PA speaker, but it works perfectly fine to amplify my church services for the folks. I also play in a band, and have a massive PA system, so no, this will not compete in any way with a powerful, full range set up, but I only needed it to amplify my spoken words and it does that just fine. And if it 'walks away' it was inexpensive enough to replace without worrying about it.

WORKS LIKE A BIGGER SPEAKER, GREAT BASS, GOOD SOUND ALL AROUND, IT IS HEAVY BUT IT IS ALSO A 15" WOOFER WITH MAGNET. IT TAKES A BIT TO GET THE RIGHT BALANCE OF BASS AND TREBLE, AGAIN, THAT IS A SITUATION WITH ANY SPEAKER. I USE AN ENTRY LEVEL YAMAHA KEYBOARD AND IT MAKES THAT SOUND GREAT.

Works beautiful. Clear sound 🔊. Well built. Has multiple inputs. Lite and easy to carry. Great value for the money.

It will work for basic live sound or as a floor wedge monitor, but the sound quality is lacking especially in the high frequencies. Not very clear and a step down compared to the older Gemini PA-15 MKII but I can't comment on durability. The housing looks similar and the older model has been a workhorse for over 3 years without any issues whatsoever.

At its price point I expected a better sound quality. This would work perfect as a single instrument monitor speaker such as a piano but as a broader monitor (which is what I purchased it for to use in smaller spaces) it is very weak and does not handle the input well. When you have multiple instruments with vocals trying to come out of it everything become muffled and there is absolutely no punch. This speaker only performs in the mid-range with virtually no low or high end. I have purchased cheaper speakers with much better performance. I would not recommend this for a band setup only single instrument.

Great range of sound with lots of inputs. Gets very loud.The knobs are kind of hard to tune right, and the mids are often drowned out.You can get any sound you want from it so it's not too much a problem.
