I am by no means an electrician, but I replaced multiple old style fixtures with these new modern looking ones and everything went great. Install is very easy, fixture gives off plenty of light and it looks great. Wife is happy, i'm happy. I would recommend these lights to anyone.The only bit of advice I'd give to someone looking to buy this style is not to be afraid to buy slightly bigger fixtures than you think you will need. I purchased several 12" fixtures and several 10" fixtures. I put the 12" in bedrooms and bathrooms. The 10" were for hallways and entryways. What I found was that the 10" fixtures did not cast any more light than the old fixtures. Not a defect, 10" fixture performed to its specs, I was just hoping it would cast more light than the old ones.If I did this again, I would purchase all 12" fixtures. Keep in mind that if you are not like me (I love a LOT of light), and you discover that the 12" fixture is too bright, these fixtures are dimmable so all you need to do is purchase and install a dimmer switch and you can decrease the brightness.Happy lighting!

Sharp Looking - 12” 4000k 1050 LumensThis is a sharp looking ceiling fixture. For the most part it is well constructed and produces more than adequate lighting. I have installed 2 of these in the closet about 19’ x 9’ dimension which produces more than the 4 x T12 tubes that it replaced. While it diffuses enough lighting at the bottom section of the room, the upper wall sections remains a little on the less bright side. I may substitute these with the 16" version that I believe produces 1600 lumens. I will move the 12” version to the kitchen pantry and under stairs storage about 7’ x 5’ in dimension. My laundry room is about 9’ x 8’ and I believe one 14” version will be sufficient for that space.Pros:Ease of installationAttractive lookingWell constructed even though the back plate is a very light metalCons:Center of the back plate should have been reinforced with a slightly heavier gauge of metal to prevent the plate from bending while tightening the fixture snugly to the ceiling. Easy to install, above the kitchen sink, and looks great..the existing light was unattractive and didn't provide enough light. It's Definitely brighter in my kitchen.

If you don’t have a dimmer, this may be more bright than you would like. Looks good. Low profile. No complaints about installation.

Love how this light looks. It's sleek, nice and bright, no need for additional ceiling lighting. And I don't have to change a lightbulb for 10 years.

I love this light! At first I thought it was a bit bright and too white in color, however after a day or so, I've realized that my old light fixture just didn't give off enough light and I was used to how dull and dim it really was.It was very easy to install and with it being LED, it should last a very long time. This product is all plastic, but with it being up on the ceiling, no one will ever know. It does match well with a new oil rubbed bronze dining room chandelier that is very from the same area. Also, the item I purchased was listed as used-like new and it did appear to be brand new never touched. Since it was listed as used, I did pay less than full brand new price and it was worth what I paid. With the all plastic construction, full price might seem a little much.

I had the same model on the covered patio, but when I had the porch pressure washed, water got in to the light and it burned out. Luckily had the same one still available as I liked it. It is easy to assemble/put up and very bright on the patio. 3 nuts to take off and clean it as bugs get in but other than that, very please with a repeat purchase.

This is an amazing light fixture. It is lightweight but attractive, easy to install in a standard octagonal ceiling mounted box and puts out an abundance of light. I installed this fixture in a home office with the only light coming from a ceiling fan that used two candelabra bulbs. This light mounted over the desk puts out several times the light of the ceiling fan light. As long as the light has a good longevity, I will be very pleased as the entire unit must be replaced if the leds fail. My only suggestion to the manufacturer would be to move the wires where they do not penetrate the base plate so close to the edge of the ceiling mounted box. You have to be careful not to scrape the wires on the edge of the box when installing it.

Lights are nice, but Canadians beware...I ordered 2 and got charged a C.O.D. fee of $60.00 CAD for brokerage fees. Yup, forgot to click on Prime.
