This wheel fit the chain link gate perfectly and installed in minutes. Big improvement for opening and closing of the gate!

Sturdy and easy to put on

I finally got tired of having to pick up my 12' chain link gate and drag it across my gravel drive every time I drove in and out of the gate, so after a little research I purchased this gate wheel. It was easy to install - just prop the gate up to the height you need and attach the wheel on the bottom rail of the gate. I included pictures of the clamp installed on the gate, which now opens with a slight push - no more dragging across the drive. My only minor complaint was that it was shipped in a flimsy plastic post office envelope, which had ripped open in several places, and wouldn't have taken much more handling for the wheel to get separated from the mailer bag. It made it to me, but a small sturdy box would have been much better. I subtracted one star for that, but otherwise it was a five-star purchase.

My thanks and a tip of the hat to the other buyer who posted photos of his wheel on his gate.Wheel came in quickly, and you can see the size of it with reference to my hand. Hardware is solid. Wheel is solid and looks downright tough. Comes with instructions and photo on how to install. I took a crescent wrench with me, and had the wheel installed in no time at all. Since this gate opens over a somewhat domed logging road, I opened the gate to where it dragged the ground, Propped the gate up with a block of wood, and set the wheel. Torqued the nuts down snug, and it works like a charm. No more gate dragging! Buying another for the front gate........
