Barely-posable
This figure looks cool, but that's about all it has going for it. It is barely posable- each shoulder has a simple swivel joint, other than that, none of the joints move. What's odd is that there are several things: tail, legs, little arms, etc. that are separate pieces, and could easily have been given simple swivel-joints, making this a much better figure, but they just designed it lazily. At least the plastic it is made from seems pretty durable. It's basically just good for putting on a shelf.

Not worth the money.
Cheap small figure. Very tiny and doesn't really do anything. Would not waste time or money on this. Not sure how they fit into the game.

Comes With Code To Power Up In Mobile Game “KULIPARI BATTALIONS”
An Army of Frogs: A Kulipari Novel by Former NFL player Trevor Price was originally written as a movie script until it was turned it into a children's book trilogy. Its popularity inspired the mobile game “KULIPARI BATTALIONS” This figure represents a character from the game. There are Bullfrogs and Tree Frogs and Scorpions in battalions of Enforcers, Warriors and Rangers. The game is one that allows in-app purchases to increase power and level. Buying these figurines is similar to making an in-app power purchase. It's not about acquiring a toy so much as it is about acquiring a code. The codes are specific to allow one group, say the Bullfrog Enforcers or the Scorpion Warriors, to increase strength to Level 7. (I haven’t played, so am not sure what all Level 7 brings, but one can surmise that getting to Level 7 means extra butt kicking ability). Who knows though? These figures might become more valuable as toys or collectibles since Price and Netflix recently reached agreement to create a new animated children’s series to be called Kulipari: An Army of Frogs. It is scheduled for release in 2016. Unless they become collectible, the reason to buy is to get a code; the figurines are really secondary.

His Legs Don't Move!
When I saw this, I knew we had to give it a try for our seven year old. He loves blind boxes! For those unfamiliar with them, they are exactly as they state-blind boxes. Each has a theme-We have Walking Dead, Avengers, Marvel, Ninja Turtles, etc-but you don't know which character you will get until you open the box. And though, with this funny guys you do know what you are getting, the line was completely new to us-so it was a great treat for our little guy.I saved this for our son to open when he got home from school, and the first thing I notice is the box was larger than we thought."This looks cool!" our son said as he happily tore into the packaging. When he finally got it open he was thrilled with the creepy crawly that he pulled out."He's awesome, but his legs don't move." And indeed they don't. But the figure itself feels sturdy and has a decent weight to it, so it's not as flimsy as some of the little guys he's gotten in the past.As we were opening it, my son did mention it looks like it belongs to a game, and it would appear that there is indeed a mobile game to go along with this line of toys. Unfortunately, it looks like it's only for Android at the moment, and we have iPhones. Oh well, maybe our 16 year old will download it and let his little brother play. It also appears that there is a line of books tied in to these characters-Christmas present!Even though he doesn't have the app at the moment, so we aren't sure what the figures do, he is happy with this figure. The price point is a bit high for this type of action figure though. All in all, this is a fun character to add to our son's collection of crazy figures.

Cute little figure
I got this figure for my six year old son. He liked playing with it. It is a good size for him - about the size of his other characters - so he can play with them together. It is good for someone who likes the mobile game, but even if you don't it's fun. It feels sturdy enough.

It's a toy scorpion soldier... if yo ulike the Kaipari books you'll probably want to get this.
Kulipari is a popular series of books about a war between a group of friendly Australian frogs and a bunch of scorpions. Due to the popularity of the books, there is now a PlayStation game around the books and a set of action figures tied loosely to the game. This toy is an action figure of one of the scorpions. That's about as much as I can say about "why" this toy is out there. My 9 year-old grandson actually opened the package and gave me his opinion on the toy. He liked it, and will play with it. It stands about 4" high and seems solidly built. I'm not sure this will be much fun to a youngster unless they are into the books or the game. As a stand-alone toy this really doesn't make much sense. That is why the "3" rating.

Color is a little different.
The figure that I received is not glossy, as it shows in the pictures, but it has a matte finish. It’s pink and kind of a darker mustard color.Only the two “main” arms, attached at the shoulder, move up-and-down. The legs, “other” arms, tail do not move.Overall it’s not a bad price for a molded piece of plastic Made in China. Originally they were not discounted, so they were crazy expensive. But the current price is “affordable”.
