not completely flawless
the reviews are right.the wall plug should of been a regular power plug like a vizio tv plug. it is very short in length so i have to spend more money to buy an extra extender power cord .the remote controllers are not bluetoothed like the ps4 controller. who the heck buys batteries or rechargeable batteries ( i never buy them for past 50yrs ever ) bc if i get rechargeables then i have to waste money & buy another device to recharge the batteries . the ps4 controller for my ps4 pro - recharges over usb wire & i can play games for days on a full charge same with wireless elite 2 controller for my xbox 4 ( xbox one x model) . the sd 256gb card is now unuseable bc i configure the settings during game play to 4k video. after doing research on youtube & google - i followed the instructions to repair but the screen shows Green screen. So i use the sd card for my photography camera.the remote controls that come with this package are china made quality . i tried different wireless controllers from 3rd parties , it can read the info but i am not able to use it.i am forced to use the controllers that it comes with, its works really Good but i hate to keep adding AA batteries to it & buy batteries.i bought another sd card from ebay with 50,000 retro games on it & batocera built in , instead of me downloading it onto the laptop & adding games to it . to use with this console. it works great . great product except for short length wires & sorry controllers that you have add AA batteries to the back of the controllers. but at least i figured out how to play retro games on it.i 'm still happy bc i can play all the games .

I can't get it to work with PS2 controllers with USB adapter
The Good:So far it's completely as advertised. A lot of nostalgic games for the price. Everything out of the box works. The Bad:I have 4 PS2 controllers with USB adaptors which I can configure on the screen but doesn't fully recognize. It will play some games but others it completely does not recognize or thus play with the PS2 controllers (the controllers supplied which take 2 triple A batteries work). There are of course a lot of duplicate games (other versions as well as it is repeated due to different system)It looked like it was opened before I opened it.It does have load times but so did the old console games.Time savers:They hid the USB dongle for the controllers in the battery compartment.Hold the start key and press the hotkey button twice to exit from a game (it is not explained anywhere).Overall:Very happy with this piece of nostalgia. I may be burning through a lot of AAA batteries... Hopefully I find USB contollers that work well with this..

Complete HEADACHE
Not easy to setup. No directions to setup in the box.Spent 45 mins Googling how to get this thing to run, and was still having issues.Customer service at Kenhink is non-existent.Supposed to receive 2 controllers and received 1. The 1 controller they was in the box had buttons that were smashed in. The controller is a PS3 style, but very light and cheaply made. The buttons don’t work unless pressed “just so.”You will have to configure the controller to every game console and the buttons on the controller don’t match the buttons on the screen for calibration. As stated previously, there aren’t any instructions in the box, so you will need a pad of paper and pen to write your own instructions for each console. For example, the Intellivision controllers are vastly different than these. Some Intellivision games require the number pad. You have to spend approx. 5-10 mins figuring out how to access the button pad and then how to execute it. Again, the customer service at Kenhink is nonexistent so you are on your own.The ROMs appeared to work, but the resolution for newer games is very grainy. Some games offer the “turbo” function, like the NES Max, but not all. The buttons are also not depicted the same anywhere, so figuring out how to get the Contra code to work is still up in the air. There isn’t a reverse/rewind option like you may have had on a Nintendo DS or PC.Inclosing you are left with an overpriced device that doesn’t come with all the pieces, does come with damage/pre-used pieces, and no manufacturer customer service to support it. It will play old games, but that’s it. You will spend a lot of time trying to figure it out than you will play it.

A work in Progress!!!
I just got this system and made the mistake of hooking up the android/TV side first, so it took me a while to get the Emulation side up. I am having a problem getting the controllers to configure, so I am getting the simple SNES type sent to me so maybe I can finally play. I wish the system was plug and play without having to set the controllers at the beginning esp since I plan on playing SNES the most. Also the SNES part plays slow (around 40 something FPS) and sound is bad, like a broken speaker. It looks like the FAVE section where you can park your favorite games plays better, but I could not find out. I lost sound adjusting the system and the games reboot a lot. I am waiting on the other controllers to see if I can work it better!! It would be great to have default settings on the controllers for some of the systems you can select. I will update when I get the other controllers!! Also, I think some of the techs at Kinhank have Videos of trouble shooting issues, like the enlarged screen that I encountered on the game side because I went into Android/TV side first. I would love a video of simple, slow set up instructions and adjustments. I am still so glad to have this system!! Wish me luck!!
