Difficult
Bought for son. Looked at instructions n realized he wasn't gonna be able to build so I built for him. Instructions a little hard to understand. Also had to open all bags to build each building which was frustrating. Otherwise please with product and son loves it.

Dubai micro/mini brick set
This is a mini/micro brick set that allows you to build the Dubai skyline. Do be aware that this is micro or mini bricks and not standard size bricks. These bricks are not compatible in size with the major brand. The plus for mini bricks is that they allow you to build a more realistic-looking and detailed scene, and this particular set is a really good example of that. The mini bricks allow you to create a very realistic scene that simply wouldn't be possible with standard-size bricks. And this really is a realistic representation of the Dubai skyline. The buildings you see are building brick replicas of actual buildings and famous sights. I could definitely see this being used as an educational tool, and it would be a neat way to illustrate a book report. The instruction manual is 30 pages long and has color illustrations. Because this build is small but has over 2,500 pieces, be aware that you'll need an excellent degree of attention to detail. The instructions illustrated exactly what you need to do, but there can be a lot going on with each individual step-- they don't break things down into a lot of smaller steps, like some kits do. Each layer of the base is illustrated as one single step (per layer), for example. The bricks do click together well, and I'm pleased with the quality.Overall, I'd say that this is a really cool building set, but you should take the ages 14+ seriously. This isn't intended for very young builders, and they'd likely find it very frustrating. People who might have trouble seeing the instruction illustrations or people who have trouble handling very small objects might also want to pass on this one. If you're detail-oriented and love a realistic build, then this is a GREAT choice. I personally really enjoyed it and enjoyed looking up each building represented and reading more about them.

I'm a sucker for teeny things and knockoff sets
And this gives me all of them thangs. It's a nice skyline, and a pain in the buns to put together. THE GOOD pain in the buns. I love it. Know what you're getting into with this set, otherwise I'd recommend. It's honestly pretty great, and the price isn't terrible in comparison.

Great to do together!
I'll be working on this alongside my son, because I do think that the micro style could be a bit frustrating for him. That said, the set is packaged well and looks to have instructions that are easy to follow.

Very Cool Building Block Set, Bricks are Tiny!
We got this as a family activity for the week and are very happy with this set. It is a nice, and more affordable option to the official Lego's. We knew going in the bricks are small, but they are...really small so beware. Definitely not recommended for smaller/littler kids. Other than that, we have enjoyed doing this set and recommend. Great family fun (we alternate between building blocks and puzzles as a family).
