Great after a small modification
Update: I came back to this case after it was left sitting in a drawer for over a year. I actually ended up modding the case, by making a incision with a small pock knife around each button on 3 sides - this way the buttons are still very much part of the case. This solved the hard-to-press issue - I'm delighted. The buttons now press easily and in fact are even clicky, while the small cuts I made are barely noticeable. I'm sharing this "in case" anyone can benefit from the tip. Also, upon my return to it, I'm actually digging the color and the patina on the leather - scratches and all. Overall this will be my new daily driver for the foreseeable future............................................I really wanted to love this case but in the end it is let down by horrible button feel. They are downright difficult to press. Also, ultimately the leather hasn’t lived up to my expectations. It starts out dark which limits the satisfaction of having the leather patina into a lovely brown color. Worse yet it means the imperfections are so much of the patina experience actually look more like blemishes rather than adding character. It does seem like it offers a lot of protection but I’d trade some of that to be able to use the buttons without making a concerted effort.

An expensive, nice iPhone case that does what it advertises, with one caveat
I finally broke down and moved to the iPhone world from Android specifically because of the magnets incorporated in the iPhone and the ability to charge it with magnetically attached "Slap pack" batteries. If my phone is low on juice, I just pop a charging pack on the phone and it sticks in place and recharges the phone battery. A "killer app", enough to move me out of the Android world after all of these years. But the Iphone is made of glass, front and back (the back??-for some completely insane reason). So a full folio case would be needed, just like my last Android phone. Prior to my use of folio cases, a screen would last at most 6 months before being cracked. I had a tough regular case that left the screen exposed, shoved in a pocket with my keys, snap-crackle, pop. Gotta have the folio case. After folio cases, never had a problemA bit of research convinced me that the case had to be a "Magsafe case", not a "Magsafe compatible case". The "compatible" cases rely on the magnets in the phone to MAYBE hold the slap pack in place, if you are lucky. The "Magsafe Cases" include a magnet of their own to seal the deal. This Nomad folio case was the only one on Amazon that included the magnet (as best I could tell) at the time I made the purchase. The good:1) The case fits the iPhone 12 Pro perfectly.2) It looks great new3) Seems pretty tough at firs sight4) Slap Packs stick tenaciously5) Buttons, ports etc work perfectly with case, very accurately madeThe Less Good:1) The leather is getting torn up pretty quickly in my pockets. It is very susceptible to showing dents and dings and scratches. Mind you, this does not decrease the functionality, but it does damage the esthetics.2) There is no latch for the screen cover (last phone case had a magnetic latch). This seemed like it was gonna be a problem, but as the case has aged, the cover piece that goes over the screen lies flat, so is no longer an issue.3) The "shock padding" on the corners seems pretty thin. Maybe an issue, maybe not, I am not gonna test it. But I would feel more comfortable with a bit more rubber.4) Kinda slippery for leather as the leather is very smooth.A furniture sales guy taught me that the better the leather, the more delicate it is. So that makes this Nomad case pretty good leather. But again, the damage is only visual, the case continues to work flawlessly after a couple of months of brutal mistreatment (my norm, I am told). So I like the case, but imagine that cheaper alternatives will eventually show up on Amazon. Remember, it has to be a "Magsafe Case", not a "Magsafe compatible" case!! I will start looking for some appropriately colored leather polish, which should improve the esthetics of the case.

Great case wearing well
I love this case and love the natural patina that has developed as time goes on. The leather color continues fade and change and I love it. I have dropped it a few times and no damage has occurred.

Looks great, feels,great, works average
Bought it for my wife who has an iPone 12. Bought the rustic brown colour. Scratch marks appeared within the first day making it look a year old. The leather although genuine does not hold up well. The scratch marks and indents into the case make it look kind of cheap. The MagSafe, which is why I bought this is weak. Consequently my wife does not use the MagSafe charger. She claims it does not charge her phone. Unfortunately, I would not buy it again.

At last!
Once I started with the iPhone 12 and saw the potential of the MagSafe feature, I began looking for something that could accommodate my lifestyle change; namely, integrate my phone with my essential carry-items (DL and other ID) using the Apple wallet (or equivalent), carry even more cards in the folio, and still allow MagSafe charging while the phone is in the case. This has *all* of that and I like it, a lot! Yes, it's bulky in the pocket. But that is my choice.I would suggest for future designs (if you're reading this Nomad) is to provide a feature for this folio to provide detachment/attachment so the user *could* slim it down if desired.I am reviewing the black folio but the opinion should be the same.

Worst case I’ve ever bought.
I’ve had this case for 11 days and it looks like a case I bought at the dollar store. I got it because of what I read a viewed about Nomad. The chances of me buying another Nomad product will be slim at best. If I could have written a review based on zero stars I would have, I had to pick something. Very very disappointed

Bad look
The surface is wrinkled. The case definitely does not look as good as advertised. What a disappointment!

Shows scratches easily
The thing I disliked the most is that it does have a magnet or clip keep the wallet closed. So which means that if you put a ring/pop socket like I did which helps me when being down stuff or buying you can easily loose your credit card…since it stays wide open.
