Over the last 30 yrs I've bought nearly every brand of string there is, and most are great, some are excellent, and these are the upper end of excellent in my personal opinion. I used to use Elixirs (and I still like them) but I've been solely using D'addario XS coated strings for several years now and I've never looked back. They feel SO good, slippery enough yet dry, unlike when you use something like Fast Fret which gets your fingers a little oily. These strings have that slick feel simply from the coating, and even the non-wound strings are slick and stay that way, they don't get corroded and coarse feeling, just wonderful. And these things last forever, even on acoustics the sound stays crisp, unless you use a metal pick.

At first I thought… why are these strings so dang expensive? I been using high-quality Martin strings for less than half the price. I needed new strings so I thought I would give these a shot and I have to say they are the best strings I’ve ever had on my Taylor mini GS. They feel great and they sound awesome.

Amazing strings. Sound excellent on a smaller body guitar like my Baby Taylor.Definitely prefer the Elixer Nanowebs on The Grand Auditorium though. Nothing compares thus far.

Used to play 13’s on my acoustic but it’s been killing my fingers and buzzing more cause I get finger fatigue. Switched to these new custom 11’s and they’re great. Yes I lost some low end but I can make it back with correct eq in the sound system.

So I did alot of research, I wanted the best strings I could find for my acustic. I play a taylor gs mini walnut. These strings are wild. My daughter said it sounds like I'm play through an amp. The best sound comparison would be it sounds like the gutiar from pink Floyd wish you were here. I'm very impressed and will buy these from now on.

Great strings, these are my favorite strings for acoustic guitar. The sound is what I expect to hear and they last a long time.
