DJI FPV Drone Combo with Remote Controller and Goggles CP.FP.00000001.01 (Renewed)

The media could not be loaded. We bought this drone with the intention of sharing it between dad and son, but so far, it's been my son taking the skies. I've been busy with training modules on the laptop, with mixed success.The drone's speed and agility are truly impressive. We've chased birds, cars, and even wild animals from high above, capturing some amazing footage. Watching the video replay is just as thrilling as flying the drone itself. My son loves the FPV experience, and he can switch between safety mode for beginners and full-speed mode for some seriously wild flying. We’ve sent it so high and far that we lost sight of it, but the return-to-home feature is fantastic—just push a button, and the drone flies back and lands gently.The drone is lightweight, though heavier than expected, and the battery life is robust but short, typically lasting 10-15 minutes. Given the short flight times, extra batteries are a must. You'll also need a special case and potentially a second drone for spare parts, which is par for the course with any hobby.Overall, it's an amazing drone with a few extra costs and considerations. Our next mission is to take it to the middle of nowhere and chase buffalo. Stay tuned for more!

Useless purchase, spent several hours messing with this drone, it wont Activate, followed and watched several videos, following each step and nothing. Contacted DJI support, spent over an hour with them and still wont activate. Apparently this is why someone return it, the listing states This product is inspected, tested, and refurbished, as necessary to be fully functional according to Amazon Renewed standards.No is was not tested and inspected otherwise everything would be working as it should. Very frustrated waited several days for the drone to arrive, then wasted several hours just trying to set it up. My brother bought his new and came over to go over and set it up and he could not get it to activate and he has the exact same FPV drone.Spent several hours updating all the Firmware, then the remote would not activate. One would think when something is refurbished back to be fully functional , this would all be completed by the so called "Authorized DJI technicians" I am going to buy another one and it will not be from Amazon. DJI actually sells re manufactured drones on there web site, either going to buy new or refurb from this site.

I know the activation part can be very irritating to some. It did frustrate me a little bit but once I got it, boy, oh boy was it worth it! This damn thing is wicked fast if you put this thing in sport mode, just be ready because it will climb altitude so fast and it will go in whatever direction you want to at about 90 miles an hour and that’s no joke. It is very easy to fly the FPV goggles are incredible! You may want to sit down though or lean up against something while you’re flying because it will throw your equilibrium off a little bit especially if you get Squirrley with it if you get Motionsickness, I wouldn’t recommend fast jerking motions. The quality is top-notch. The performance is top-notch. The range is top-notch connectivity is incredible. Have not one bad thing to say about this drone other than I wish the flight had a little more time on it because it’s just so amazing. I could fly this thing for hours on end, it looks like I will be fortune because I love that much!

Package was in original foam but no box. All things included and looked new with unopened packaging on most things. Easy set up and updates only took about 20 minutes for drone, goggles and remote. Flew this weekend with no issues. Would suggest different goggle headband as the OE one is very uncomfortable for me. As for an easy transition into FPV I would give this a must try

This thing is ridiculous and it starts u out as a beginner and that is needed for some u can take it off and go strait to manual mode which is insane not only that but the only time I crashed this thing was in manual mode and it didn't even break this thing is well worth the money

It's a renewed product but for about only 75 dollars off the regular price, there is a severe lack of crucial items and potentially hazardous conditions. As soon as I took it out of the amazon shipped box the drone's goggles fell out of the packaging and only barely survived a hard hit on the floor as it hit my foot first.Props are missing, although I have extra from a friend so no problem for my end, but for others who might buy this renewed and not have a friend with the same drone with the same props, that's very annoying.The drone itself is ok if you live somewhere rural. In NYC, forget it. This thing is more headache than actual fun, and its supposed to be a user friendly experience. It doesn't provide much for photographers either since the image quality is nowhere close to a goPro, and to install a gopro means voiding warranty.Not a good experience.Edit: I'm trying hard to like this drone. The video quality coming from analog fpv drones is amazing. But the latency is very noticeable after about a hundred yards out. Which is scary on a $1300 product (if you have the dji care insurance policy replacement drones are around $300, so at least there's some ease of mind)The drone is also sluggish which is to be expected of a 700+ grams drone. But keep that in mind when flying manual mode as pulling out of dives take a lot longer and slower than what you may be used to flying 4-6 inch fpv quads. The dji simulator app doesn't do it justice, but it helps.I highly suggest not removing the attitude limiter when flying in manual mode. This drone can do flips and loops and all that but it's not meant to. Unless you're one of the guys in the DRL or RotorRiot, do not get complacent. And even those guys crashed their dji drones. Difference is they have a near endless supply from sponsorships that every day people don't, so they can laugh it off.Ratings stay the same for now. I may even purchase the fly more battery kit to do the three packs a day routine.
