1 of 2 m.2 slots dead, otherwise good board
Overall, I've very happy with the board. Everything works the way it should EXCEPT only 1 of the 2 m.2 drive slots. I have tried everything to make the second drive slot work. Followed youtube videos, spent countless hours reading message boards, Reddit, and random pages around the internet. Both CPUs worked perfectly first time. All the RAM slots read as they should. If not for the second m.2 slot, I'd give this a glowing review. This is not a deal breaker, and I will live with it. With a 4TB m.2 drive, there is plenty of space. After the POST, the Linux Mint boots in 7.2 seconds to a usable desktop.

IT WORKS! Probably the best x99 so far
Do have to check some stuff before, but it's a joy when it starts up.It breaks my heart to see the reviews posted here, and i do hope some people give it a try and change their minds with this review. Will post pics and vids later when i get the gpu etc...The stuff i need to check for is IOMMU, as well as 4G decoding etc... Myconst i think his channel is called, references a bunch of details for X99 type motherboards, but amongst all i could find, this was definitely the nicest specced one for the price on Amazon. The PRO'S:- It has DDR4 Support with 8 slots of 16 each for up to 128 (i installed 64 all on the first block, but i do have to check if adding 64 more is viable).- It does support LGA-2011-3, no Socket R2 support, but it's a lovely board so far, i got a bit scaed, rotated the cpu and it was great.- Perfect compatibility with some recommended coolers such as the LGA 2011-3 Noctua- The price, oof what an amazing price, it's not too expensive nor too cheap. Perfect for a build.- The design, tons of components close to the border, for maximum airflow; enough gap between 2 GPU's to let you fit them big cards, with just enough room for the ram.- The shipping and board version were both fast and up to date.- Any error codes (60/06 etc) are well documented, it will show up a few error codes at the first boot, this is perfectly normal, it is recommended to boot with a single stick of ram per CPU.CONS:- No integrated Power On button , it's extremely useful for testing, specially if you haven't really defined how you're gonna manage your space or haven't bought a case.- No booklet on how to start it without connections to a Case, so if u don't have pc knowledge to get a metal piece to jump the two black pins on the orange connectors, u shouldn't try to do stuff without first getting a case.- According to a friend, definitely needs and Extended ATX Case, i just use a big ol' container since it has that mighty aesthetic into it...- No integrated graphics etc , this is understandable since it can be attributed to compatible processors, but in general, it means you have to buy a gpu with video display etc... so it's extra money.

Listing is incorrect. I was shipped a board with LGA2011-1 sockets.
I purchased this board to use with components I pulled from a server I have from a customer. It came with the wrong socket type. This was sellers response:The battery needs to be installed for the motherboard to work. Please note that the new type and old type of this product will be sent randomly, and make sure you will not mind before ordering. The product is a server motherboard, does not support ordinary memory, memory frequency should also be consistent with the system description, and the power supply line of the two cpus should be connected, and the CPU model should be exactly the same to be able to use normally.

Good product, bad documentation, very bad customer service.
The motherboard was built solid, it support same type of 2011-v3 Xeon CPUs even though they are not the "matching pair". However, the USB 3.0 connector on the motherboard isn't steady, I have to adjust it every now and then. Also, the NVME ssd can't be recognized, I believe the BIOS need to be updated. So, the negative part of the motherboard. First, no customer service at all, I kept asked them questions during the installation, but none of the questions were answered. Second, no technical support at all. There wasn't any written or electronics version of instructions, so I have to do install it with trial and error.

Works wonderfully but very little technical support
I was able to get it working eventually but I had a few errors I sort of had to stumble my way through since there was no manual or online support. Yeah, it's a cheap board and it works fine but I wasn't even able to verify its existence on the internet at all. I recommend it if you're looking for a cheap board but if there's an error code... have fun guessing your way through it.
