My New Favorite!
I absolutely love the Eight Saints. My husband has been using Brickell products for some time now and loves them, so I was excited to try their sister Brand Eight Saints. Down To Earth Facial Cleanser is one of my favorite Eight Saints products thus far. The texture is perfect—light, smooth, and non-stripping—and the scent is fresh and "natural" without being overpowering. My skin always feels clean but not dry after using it, which is a big plus.Even though it’s not specifically marketed for acne-prone skin, I’ve noticed that it actually helps keep my breakouts under control. It doesn't cause me irritation, and my skin has been clearer and more since I started using it.Overall, this cleanser has become a staple in my routine, and I’ll definitely be replenishing when I run low. Highly recommend!

Working well for my sensitive, mature skin!
I'm really liking Eight Saints skin care. This face wash is the latest addition to my skin care routine using their products. I've been using it for over a week now.It lathers well, only needing a small amount. Smells good. My skin feels nice after washing, not dried out it all. It's been great for my sensitive skin, no irritation. I use it twice daily, in combination with two of their serums that I have been using for a couple of months now, and I'm loving the improvements I'm seeing overall.I will be purchasing again and highly recommend this product!

Gentle, Effective, and Clean—My Skin Loves This Stuff!
I’ve been using Eight Saints’ Down to Earth face wash for a few weeks now, and I’m seriously impressed. It’s gentle enough for my sensitive skin but still leaves me feeling fresh and clean—without that tight, stripped feeling. The gel texture is lightweight and lathers just the right amount. What really stands out is how clean the ingredient list is—no harsh chemicals, artificial fragrances, or anything sketchy. It smells subtly herbal and natural, which I love, and it works beautifully with the rest of my skincare routine. My skin looks brighter, less congested, and more balanced overall. A little goes a long way, so even though it’s a bit pricier than drugstore cleansers, I feel like I’m getting great value. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a cleanser that actually cares for your skin.

Effective and Joyful
This cleanser is a joy to use. It’s silky, smells great, and leaves my normal/combination skin feeling soft. Somehow, while in the mornings this cleanser feels refreshing, at night it feels soothing and calming. In the past, I have used lots of other cleansers, and I got tired of them and was lately just using castile soap. However, I noticed the castile soap was leaving a “squeaky clean” feeling, which I’ve learned is not a good thing, as it was stripping my skin too much. This cleanser does the job without being harsh, and afterward my skin needs less moisturizer than usual. If I’m wearing eyeliner or mascara, I use a makeup remover first, but it doesn’t have to be perfect. The cleanser is able to remove any remaining eye makeup, and it removes all other makeup on its own just fine. I have been using about a nickel-sized amount for my entire face and upper neck, while with other cleansers I use about a dime-sized amount. I do have soft water, so I think part of the reason why I use more is just the way the product comes out, and also because I enjoy it so much. It gives me a zen moment twice each day, and for that alone it's worth every penny.Additional info: This product contains the ingredient phenoxyethanol, which I normally try to avoid. It has been deemed safe in products up to a concentration of 1%, and when I contacted Eight Saints about this ingredient, they assured me they do not put more than the industry-accepted 1% in their products. In this case, since the cleanser is not sitting on my face all day, I am okay with it. Also, when layering products afterward, I make sure that I don’t layer multiple products with phenoxyethanol, because then I would go over the 1%. An interesting thing I noticed is that if the phenoxyethanol is at most 1% of the product, then all the ingredients listed after phenoxyethanol are also 1% or less, including the ingredients advertised on the front of the bottle (Vitamin C, Kaolin Clay, DMAE). Again, since this is a cleanser and will be washed off in a matter of minutes, I wouldn’t expect the company to put a high concentration of those valuable ingredients in this product. Also, one of the main ingredients, cocamidopropyl betaine, can cause skin reactions according to EWG and Mamavation, but the main concern seems to be if that ingredient is contaminated. I haven’t had any problems, and I trust Eight Saints, so I am okay with this as well. It’s hard enough finding a cleanser that is overall so safe and feels so amazing.Out of everything out there that I’ve tried over the years, this is my all-time favorite cleanser, and I highly recommend.

Squeaky Clean
I’d been using the same drug store "gentle" facewash for years, only to discover that it contains pore-clogging ingredients, despite being labeled "non-comedogenic." I decided to give this one a try, with trepidation since switching can be fraught. But this is very mild, I haven't broken out or had any irritation. I'm still trying to figure out exactly how much to use so it lathers up without needing excessive rinsing - somewhere around two pumps, I think.. My skin feels very clean (no residue!) but not too dry afterward, and it looks brighter and refreshed/taught. I’m following it with a rich moisturizer, and I look nice and dewy afterward.

Luxurious and real clay in there!
I love this face wash!! It leaves my face very soft. The ingredients are obviously natural-the is actual mud within it-I recognize the same type of clay as the No Plans mud face mask which I also love. Smells wonderful but I appreciate that they don’t use strong or artificial fragrances. This doesn’t dry me out and feels luxurious. I also received a much bigger product than I expected for the price! It’s a huge portion!
