This is an interesting read. I've been interested in foraging for a long time. This book has a lot of information about how to determine edibility of plants. It also is a very easy read and has a lot of information.My issue lies in that the author does not provide any specifics. I have another book that goes into depth on plant types and their edibility. I was hopeful this would also provide more specific information. This is more of a general guideline on how to forage.

I now feel empowered to eat all of the woods.

Bought this for my daughter who is an avid outdoorswoman. But I sneak a peek at it whenever I get a chance because it is a good read. Very good information about EVERYTHING you need to know if you get lost inthe wilderness. We thought we knew a lot, but we're learning more.

I got this as a gift for my husband, we plan to keep it in our camper when we are out in nature with our kids. I love the printing quality, the cover quality, and the wide array of content too! We can’t wait to bring it on our next camping adventure and let our boys learn, observe and explore this amazing world we live in. I would absolutely recommend this as a personal purchase or a gift for the outdoor enthusiast too. It will easily be a favorite.

I read this book years ago. Where and how I lost it I do not know. Because of the political environment I joked I had better review my military survival skills. Ergo, back to Bradford's book.This is not the end all survival book. But it is darn close. I would think those Alaska survival contestants would do well to study the advice presented here.Everyone should have some level of survival skill. We may not want to live off the land. But, who knows.

I got this as a gift for my science inclined husband and he loves it. He was very excited that it is a practical guide on how to do pretty much anything outside. It has a sturdy hard cover and really good information. The illustrations are great and so is the format!

Will be put to good use, only drawback is no color photos

I don't usually review products I buy, but I am compelled to review this one. This book is everything I hoped it would be! The design is fresh and direct, and the content is really valuable and easy to follow. I'd say this is a book you can definitely judge by its cover.BUY IT!

I ordered a bunch of similar books and this one is one of the best. Lots of pictures. Great hard cover. Nice looks and feel. The image of the book above doesn't do this book any justice. As this is one of the nicest survival books I have.

This book covers a lot of ground, easy to read and is very interesting.
