This blind needs no drilling at all. You get a set of clips which hold the blind to the window rather than the usual type where you have to fix the blind to the wall. It is really easy to do and looks good to. You can open and shut it with the string on the side. The blind lets light in so the room stays light and bright but you cannot see in. This is perfect for my bathroom, it really does let light in and when I went outside I could not see in.The blind looks clean and modern and just needs a dust occasionally. I will use my fluffy duster for this. I have not not fitted the blind permanently yet, just for testing, I will fit it permanently when the bathroom has finished being modernised, we are having it ripped out so the blind would get pretty dusty. When it is finished I will post a picture of the whole room to show the blind at its best. This blind would look good in any room but if you need the room darkened then you probably would need a blackout blind.

We’ve been fairly impressed with some other products in the AmazonBasics range, and felt that the name ‘basics’ was perhaps doing them a disservice. Unfortunately in the case of this blind, ‘basics’ is definitely appropriate. It’s very simple, lightweight, a touch flimsy, and looks a bit cheap.The plastic fixings probably won’t take a lot of strain or wear and tear, but are secure enough to take occasional pulling about. The material is a solid blind, pleated, with a simple woven texture. The cream/ivory/warm white colour will suit most environments, particularly office spaces.To fit it, the brackets do go over (and under) the window frame, so depending on the style of your window, on some windows you’d have to remove the whole frame to get this installed. The brackets are 35mm deep, so the maximum depth of the window needs to be about 25mm or under, which is not particularly thick.The blind can be pulled down from the top, and up from the bottom, so you can choose which part of the window to screen, and it can be adjusted for the angle of the sun, or the angle of sight to the world outside.Assembly is easy enough, and the instructions are fairly straightforward to follow. I’d certainly recommend reading them before pulling off the wrapping or fixing bits together, as there’s a clear and necessary process to installation.It’s not a particularly luxuriant blind and for home use I’d recommend looking for something a bit more plush. If however you’re trying to stick blinds on office windows and working on a budget, this might be the functional solution you’re after. At time of writing Amazon isn’t listing a price on this, so I can’t comment on the value.

Permet de se protéger du soleil sans avoir à occulter toute la fenêtre. Le store peut se positionner fermé sur toute la hauteur et se réduit à une barre de 5 cm. On peut également le déployer vers le haut et (ou) vers le bas. Par contre il faut être minutieux au montage et le mode d’emploi est vraiment succinct, mais on y arrive !

Ich habe das Plissee in den Maßen 80cmx130cm gekauft. Das Ganze hat inkl. Lieferung nur 15€ gekostet, was im Vergleich zu anderen Plissees in der Größe echt günstig war. Gespannt war ich auf die Qualität: Das Plissee sieht sehr hochwertig aus. Die Anbringung war recht einfach und bisher hält es gut. Auch die Farbe ist schön, ein softes Creme. Ich bin sehr zufrieden.

Das Produkt kam in einer erstaunlich riesigen (meterlangen) Umverpackung, und zwar jeweils, obwohl ich 2 zusammen bestellt hatte. Die Montageanleitung ist nicht dabei, sondern die muss man sich erst bei dem Artikel suchen. Hab dann Screenshots von den Seiten gemacht ( da ich nicht beide Rollos am selben Tag montiert habe) und finde, einen Zettel mit der Anleitung hätte man beilegen können.Die Montage selbst war einfach, und die Rollos sind prima. Allerdings sollte man das Fenster nicht zu oft öffnen. Hab es vielleicht dreimal geöffnet, und eine der Plastikhalterungen ist gebrochen. Dafür der Stern Abzug. Zum Glück hält es trotzdem noch durch das Kebepad, ich hoffe nur, das bleibt so, die gebrochene Halterung ist jetzt kein U mehr, sondern ein L.Ansonsten bin ich zufrieden, zumal diese Fenster selten geöffnet werden. Wenn man sie täglich öffnet, würde ich’s nicht empfehlen.Update: Nach einigen Monaten, in denen das Fenster nur wenige Male geöffnet wurde, ist die Halterung komplett lose, und dadurch lässt sich auch das Rollo nicht mehr zusammenschieben (außer man bindet eine Schnur drum). Schade.
