This thing is everything I was hoping for.
The media could not be loaded. So let me start of by saying I bought this stereo because of wanting to collect CDs again. I was born in the 90s so CDs were a crucial part of my childhood and there was just always something about listening to your favorite music this way. It truly makes me feel like a kid again to own this type of stereo. but even better than that, it’s not only got a cassette tape player too, but also equipped with standard AM/FM radio, Bluetooth and Auxiliary cable support.Pros:SoundThe sound is EXACTLY what I was wanting out of this thing. If I could explain what it sounds like to listen to music through speakers that sounds like you’re still in the early 2000s but with great quality that’s exactly what this does for me.Very clean and crisp, and quite loud too.ColorThe color is nice. Very reminiscent of early 2000s to late 2000s stereos which was another intention of purchasing. The screen is nice and simple that adds to the nostalgia for me.Audio playback capabilityThe amount of audio playback capability you get is a huge plus. I’m not sure if I’ll ever use the cassette player but I’m super happy it has one. The am/fm radio is obviously nice too, and the fact that I have the option to use Bluetooth or Auxiliary is pretty sweet too. I should also mention it’s even got a headphone jack if you want to use headphones on that for some reason and the added remote to use the stereo while laying down in bed or anything is super convenient too.Portability and lightIt’s definitely light weight and portable, with the ability to use batteries to power it for on the go usage. Comes with a standard cable for indoor power as expected. If you didn’t realize already too, it’s got removable speakers for your positioning needs!Overall quality of the unitIt doesn’t feel super cheap, and honestly if you can remember how stereos you’d buy at Walmart that were on the higher end spectrum this is exactly what it reminds me of. The buttons on the unit are pretty clicky and feel good for what it’s worth.Cons:Price pointFor just shy of 90 dollars, I think it’s ever so slightly high priced for what it is, but at the same time.. the investment is worth it because I couldn’t really find any other unit of this caliber at any price point that’s close to this one. They were all much higher so I guess it makes sense for what it includes.RemoteI think the remote could be ever so slightly better. Feels flimsy and it’s not the most responsive at times, but doesn’t take away the general functionality and convenience it has.I think that’s really all I have for the “cons” if you can even call it that.10/10 would recommend this for anyone trying to re-live their past like I wanted to 😎

Reliable
Had an issue with the first one but the company responded by sending the second before I had mailed back the first. I have it on now and the sound and operation is excellent.

Don’t waste your money!
I wanted an inexpensive portable stereo with detachable speakers…that’s basically all I got. As soon as I pulled it out of the box I knew this was a bad product because it is incredibly cheaply made but I gave it a shot anyway. The directions to preset stations are either wrong or so confusing two other people in my household couldn’t get them to work and one was a 15yr old who can work any electronic device! My thought was …I can only receive a couple stations where I live so I’ll just manually change them so I set the player to a local full proof station, turned it up about half way…turned it up more for more volume…finally had it at the highest level…tried adding the bass and it wasn’t loud even standing right in front of the stereo!! Double checked all connections to be sure it wasn’t my fault. My handheld emergency radio plays louder than this on level 4!!! My biggest complaints are: the volume is horrible, presets are impossible and cheaply made. I never even tried the CD or cassette. I’m returning the product.

Perfect for compact area
This is a small sized, portable by handle stereo. I am not a sound fanatic but the music sounds good enough for me. Wish it could hold more than one CD at a time. The speakers can be attached or not attached. I like that I can easily move the whole system around by one handle, indoor or outdoor.

Jensen bookshelf boombox
Jensen designed and built a rockin little stereo. Everything is awesome. Great sound, bass boost, CD, am/fm, Bluetooth, auxiliary port and the cassette player all work great.Still a great name in sound. Love it.

Jensen, does anyone listen to the radio anymore?
the programming radio stations is not intuitive and was too difficult to follow even with the manual open. I gave up. Why can't the knob for volume be matched with a knob for station input? just stupid advances in tech that are actually backward. The LED out put was not as clear or large enough as I hoped. There also needed to be a place to plug in an external antenna if needed. Also the cord! my gosh, a short, short cord, a did not measure, but hope to God you have a plugin nearby. really nearby.Jensen used to be a great name in electronics. I had receivers and turntables. Not anymore. this little unit was super light and felt like it would break. felt as if the CD lid closer was not well made either. .guess a $100 does not go far currently.

It could have more sound volume
I purchased this item for my mother so she could listen to her TV in her chair and more adequately control the volume. It is not very loud. I even had trouble hearing it with the volume all the way up. It was easy to connect this to her TV.

Perfect!!
The media could not be loaded. Shocked at how good this sounds, I don't think the video shows it's true sound, there is a bass boost button that is a game changer, highly recommend especially for the price.Speakers detach so u can spread them out a bit.Very happy with purchase!!Fits perfectly on my mother's bookcase
