Salient points, as I type these words: 1) There are a zillion brands of this keyboard replacement without frame, all with unfamiliar Chinese names. I see no way to make distinctions among them. 2) There are few vendors for this product WITH frame. 3) If possible without getting ripped off, you want to find this this product WITH frame. I tried and I did not succeed. 4) YouTube has great videos to explain how to make the replacement WITH frame. I see no videos to make it work without-frame. Why? Because it's hard.I make this without-frame product work, at least so far. I managed to remove the old keyboard from the frame without destroying the frame, and I put it all back together. It's not easy, and my result is a little ragged. For all I know my next 10 attempts would be ignominious failures. Try not to go this route, please.

Got it today and please note you get only barebone keyboard. If you don't want to deal with extra hassle of removing frame and silver strip attached to the back of your original keyboard with screws holders then order keyboard with frame and screws attachments. I had to remove the silver strip from the back of the old keyboard so I can attach it to this keyboard but that was not a smooth operation and when I installed it was all crumbly sort of and keyboard was popping out. So, I had to remove the silver strip with screws holder and I simply attached the keyboard and popped the frame on top it. It's not as good as the original product but I guess it will do the job for few years or may be months. Now there are no screws attached to my keyboard.It would be nice if you get at least silver strip and screws holders also attached with this keyboard and they can charge and extra dollar or two that should be fine. So, four stars for this reason.
