Linon Grey and White Breakfast Dining Set Ardmore Nook

When I bought this I just knew it would be perfect. Me and my children has had more family dinner since we got this. It was easy to put together. The color was perfect. It fit directly the way the corner was set up. It’s very sturdy. I’m at 270 and it holds me. This was an excellent purchase for me and my family. It was worth every dime.

After spending a half day assembling this, I went to sit on the bench and broke it right away. I weigh 210lbs. I gorilla glued the bench back together and it does a better job than the crappy screws that come with it. Amazon tells me the only solution is for me to disassemble the table and put it in boxes for UPS to pick up or I can plastic wrap it and put the items outside, but how would I get anything out the door without disassembling it and how would these large items be picked up in plastic wrap without sitting on a pallet or something? Where do I get these boxes? lol. Just sit them on the wet sidewalk I guess and let them get rained on. I even asked the Amazon Customer Service lady if I could just send her the bench that broke for a replacement and she said that wasn't an option. That lady was pretty rude come to think of it. Oh well, Amazon is really going down hill. We just moved and threw away half our stuff and are ordering all new stuff and guess where we're ordering everything from? Guess how many times Amazon has screwed up already? Looks like I need to start giving other stores a chance again. Do not buy this table set if you're over 100lbs! Oh and the material gouges real easy, it's not even real wood.

It took a couple of hours to assemble.

Did hire someone to assemble. Two pieces were missing. Called the company. Very good response. Received pieces within a few days. Sturdy, looks good. Table a little small, but still very usable.

I purchased this nook before reading the reviews, which are mostly negative and disheartening. I was concerned about receiving pieces with major flaws or some missing entirely. Aside from a slight gash on the tabletop, most of the other flaws are in places that are hidden from sight, once it’s put together. I used a gray gel pen to fill in the gash on the table and it’s not as noticeable now.It took me two days to build the nook on my own and my hands are extremely sore. I highly recommend getting help to build it. The instructions were not the easiest to follow, and some of the parts weren’t labeled, so it made for a long and tedious process.Overall, I’m happy with how it turned out. It’s pretty sturdy and should last a while, if treated with care. I recommend using a sealant on the tabletop and benches to keep the paint in tact.EDIT: After only 4 months of light use, the tabletop completely snapped off from the legs. I’m concerned the same will happen with the small bench at some point. Disappointed with the quality.

0 stars! The quality of the table is horrible. But I guess that’s what I get for buying a table off Amazon. It came with small dents on it. And It leaves an indent of your fingernail or of anything that barely “scratches” it. The return process was horrible as well. What should have taken 2 minutes or less to return to the ups store turned into 40 minutes because of Amazon customer service. If you buy this table and end up returning it, make sure to call customer service before you try and return it and request 2 DIFFERENT return labels since it comes in 2 different boxes. Just be prepared to talk to customer service for about 40 minutes while they try and “figure out” how to get a separate return label.

The only thing I do not like is that the table looks like they painted on top of another color or it was patched up.. You ca clearly see right through it. BUT overall I like it and it serves the purpose.
