The Basic Math Skills Rescue books Parts One and Two have been a life-saver for my daughter. Her math distance learning just was not working. It was a total disaster. She got way behind and become so frustrated that she dreaded math. Then a friend told me about these two books. The turn-around has been amazing. The author has a way of explaining difficult topics in a very simple and understandable manner. Also a big bonus are the online video tutorials. There is one for each lesson. Mr. Fisher prompts the students to work right along with him. The two books, Part 1 and Part 2, are actually comprised of six individual books: Whole Numbers, Fractions, Decimals & Percents, Geometry, Problem Solving, and Pre-Algebra. This is an amazing algebra preparation program. It covers all the essential topics. If your child has fallen behind and is struggling and ready to give up, these two books can change all that. I recommend starting with Part One to make sure there are no gaps in your student’s background and move on to Part Two. Thanks you Mr. Richard W. Fisher!

My 2 sons are in 8th grade and 9th. They are using books one and two over a years time w this curriculum. I’m very happy w it so far. The videos are short and to the point. The author even called me when I emailed him a couple questions. Very helpful.
