Value for money

I bought this alarm to keep my family safe. I had it say about a month and now it has started to make a weird noise as if there is a wire loose in the device. Don't get me wrong it would have been a great product but for this issue.

I bought this last year. Put in batteries and tested it by the button, all was working as expected. Installed it and left it, testing every 3 months. I was cooking the other day and smoked out the kitchen. I expected the alarm to go off. Suprisingly, It didn't. So, I lit a piece of paper in a pan and held it underneath, still nothing. Held it closer near enough covering the detector and still, nothing. Panel went blue but no sound. Don't trust it and advisor other buyers to test theres. Will have to replace.

This looked great and all seemed well at first. After 1 week it started beeping and the battery needed changed. I thought this was because I had used cheap batteries so I bought expensive batteries which lasted 2 weeks. Don't waste your money.
