possibly could have been £20 cheaper but it's a quality product that works well. i hauled an 18kg kayak onto a zafira for a 1.5 hour journey, and back again, and there was some noise from the ribbon cable at speed but it never fell off. so much better that screwing together metal bars on your roof! could have done without the garish product labelling but it works well anyway. recommended.

Done a 60 mile trip with a 12’6” carbo sup on the roof, on a convertible (short roof) and very happy with the security.

Do what they are meant too

I bought this for my Jeep rhino rack. I works great for my stand up paddle board. The pads are thick and the straps are great. Easy to install and fits perfect on the rack.

These crossbar pads are easy to install and protect my cross bars carrying my kayak. The straps are sturdyand hold the kayak in place. Sliding the kayak from the back, onto the roof, with the pads in place, made iteasy. Front and rear cables are included for added security. And it is all nicely packaged in a carrying case. Iwould recommend these soft roof pads.

Great product for price! Easy to install and put away. Holds my foam board perfectly safe at freeway speeds. Be careful not to over tighten strap as loops attaching to foam rack can have seams pop a little. Even with one loop kinda torn though it was working just fine. Lost first one as it was damaged in car accident but liked it enough to purchase again.

This product comes ready to use. It has fully functional storage bag. Takes me 15 minutes from start to finish to setup straps on car, load board then tie done straps. Product’s design protect car from scratches when syncing down. Product non slip surface works at 75 mph with no wobble. Really like the “loop” that you thread top rope trough on final side of syncing down. Maximum “snugness” for board to pad and eliminates “strap vibration” noise when driving at high speeds. Using my board more bc of this product!!! Side note: I was still using my 20 years ago style (foam pad and four old school tie down straps) before I got this product. No more pulling into rest area every 30 miles to check if board is still on car 😂😂😂👌👌
