How to Use Your Sewing Machine: A Complete Guide for Absolute Beginners

I got a sewing machine for Christmas and I looked at it and thought ??? now what, so I bought a couple of books from amazon and this was 1 of them. It explains everything from sewing stitches to various materials and equipment you'll need. There's also patterns from fairly simply to something more challenging so you can learn gradually.

Was gifted a sewing machine and have gradually got going. This book is basic but for a newbie it is ideal, have made Christmas gift bags from a project in the book and have improved to decent efforts, I have got used to the machine and am progressing. I am hooked! The projects in this book are easy to follow and helps with confidence and skill. Lounge pants next....

Had a quick scan through and it’s all really clear, good pictures that are labelled clearly. From the names of every part of a machine and tools you’ll use to showing you how use the machine and make things. I have previously sewn in school and only just getting back into it after 8 years and this is helping rejog my memory and teaching me things I didn’t know.

This book is excellent if your new to the sewing machine, I've bought a few books but personally this is the best, so easy to understand with easy pictures to follow, you don't get many pages ( 58 in total ) but it was worth every penny I've learnt so much from it, I'm dyslexic but this book helped me a lot .

Purchased this book as I am a complete novice around a sewing machine and material!! My husband bought me a sewing machine and this book has been excellent in giving me my much needed step by step easy to following instructions!
