Perfect for the task
This arrived with no issues. There were no markings on what wires (or colors) were for what....It came with no details, just the thermostat switch.I had to use a Chinese language translator to help identify which set of wires was for which part. Other than that, there were no unexpected surprises. The device ONLY uses CELSIUS numbers for the temps, but it's pretty simple to do a conversion. Although it would be much handier if there was a means to select one or the other to remove some of the guess work out of it. (Perhaps there is something if you operate on it - but that would void any warranty for sure)It's been in service for a few months now --- It's connected to a exhaust fan in a large shed which is powered by solar setup. It starts and stops on its own as expected based on the settings I inserted.Note that there IS a draw on the power source....I register about .2amp when it's sitting idle. Although this is a vampire draw, it shouldn't impact a properly setup solar system.I have it coming on when it senses about 80 deg F, and then it will shut off when it drops below 75 deg F.The Thermostat has a TRIGGER (turn on) setting, and a OFF setting. Make sure your OFF setting is low enough not to make it cycle too soon, or it will act like it's never shutting off, and will likely place a strain on not only the electronics, but also what is connected to it.In my case, the cut-off is more for times when the temp in question is fluctuating because it's not getting hot and staying there, rather than once the sun is out full time like past spring when the sun is there all day. At that point, if the temp drops low enough (night time) the exhaust won't run since it won't be needed.

Not without flaws... but for $8 it does what others want $30 for. It Just Works.
It is basic, but it needs no more.Does the job... as advertised... I would have given it less stars if the price wasnt so low. What is wrong with it? DOCUMENTATIONI mean... not just how to use it, but even the wire labeling has no English... Please people, 3 tiny stickers by the wire harness would make a world of difference. As to how to actually use it... it is NON intuitive, but I eventually figured it out. Just mash enough buttons and it will work :)I am using this guy to drive a rosin press and keep the plates at a fixed temp. Works like a charm.

Nice Thermostat - WORKS FOR 110V (US)
I'm using this product to control the heat in my incubator without spending too much money, and this unit totally delivers. It's connected directly to a small heater (200W), and it was easy to install using soldering iron and electrical tape/heat shrink tubing. The most important point here is that it also works with 110V even though the plastic housing only indicate 220V/1500W.Check out a few video tutorials on YouTube if you need help.

Perfect for turning on/off engine oil/coolant radiator fans
I used this as a thermostat for mt remote mounted transmission cooler. I inserted the stainless steel probe into a Union Tee with epoxy. It works flawlessly and much cheaper than the thermostats sold for this purpose (I.e. sold specifically for controlling radiator fans).

Working Great!
I use it for a solar energy-sourced garage roof vent. I set it to turn on at 25.5C and off at 23.0C, which delays fan turn-on until later in the day. This allows the solar panels to recharge the battery during the morning and early afternoon, and the fan to pull cooler air into the garage later into the evening and night. Keeps the garage cooler in the Summer. It's all been working perfectly for the last couple of weeks. Cheap and effective temp controller.

Failed after 2.5 months
*Update: Failed after 2.5 months, I would expect this to last longer...Handles amperage quite well, pulling around 1.5 with no problems so far, temp reasonably accurate, was a good buy.

Does the job so far.
I’m using this to regulate the temperature in a heat exchanger by turning a pump on and off. It’s working well so far. However, it is rated for 10A and the wires are all 18AWG, which is too small for that amount of current. Hopefully this doesn’t cause a failure down the road. But it’s working well so far.

It just may not work
Very simple no instructions but after a bit of trial and error its easy to figure out saved my fish aquarium chiller after its original controller failed::about a month after in use the sensor coating wore off and started reading erratic temps changed ratings from 5 to 3 so upset have to order new controller and at the worst time
