A bit finicky and one sided
I didn't read the directions the 1st time I used it. I thought it just a heating pad, pretty straight forward, no? lol. So my bad. But the 1st time I used it, it kept turning off. I'd set the temp and thought I was good to go since the timer was already counting down. Nope! I guess if you don't touch the timer button after setting the temp it doesn't work. How silly. Why does the timer count down if it's not on?Also when I read the directions it said that you should only use one side of it, the side opposite the tag. Never in my life have I encountered a one sided heating pad! I don't know if that's because it's infrared or why? On that note I really wish they mentioned the infrared and explained it on Amazon or on the directions. It only says infrared in a comparison chart and I almost wonder if it's a typo because it's not mentioned anywhere else. Additionally I wish that there was more control over the temp and they didn't jump 20 degrees...and why isn't it a consistent jump? The 130 setting is not hot enough and 150 is too hot. Why not jump 10 degrees every time? I had a similar older version of this heating pad (it lasted nearly 10 years before giving up on me) and it just had low/med/high. This has a digital read out, so why not give us more control? I'm kinda missing my old heating pad. I'm hopeful that this one has a better effect if it is in fact infrared. I got the more expensive one because of the mentioned infrared and it's weighted, but it's not much heavier than the old one tbh. I love the fact that this gives you moist heat, that's why I bought the original. I hated using wet clothes or misting my heating pad and dry heat makes me hurt. It did mention however if you live in a dry climate or your AC causes dry climate to use a humidifier in the room. Luckily I don't have a dry climate but it's good to know. Overall this is a good heating pad compared to one without the moisture features. It's well made and gets super hot. I just see room for improvement and it's kinda annoying. This is a pricey heating pad. I wish they could have worked out the kinks by now.

Game Changer!!
This heating pad is a game changer! Having the moist heat feels amazing for my bad back cramps during my period and it gets hotter than other heating pads i have used in the past! Definitely worth the investment

gets warm, medium and HOT as you set it to do
this thing is bigger than any heating pad I've ever had I didn't know it was that big but man does that work think it's so hot you have to turn it down I'm glad it has three settings but you want it hot it'll get hot if you want it warm it'll get warm it's a little bit long for me but I'm used to the little square ones not the rectangle but that's on me the thing works great

Mixed thoughts
Worked great when I first got it,the higher temperatures worked really, even had to turn it down sometimes. After just 10 days use,it still works but is not getting as hot as it first did. I am using the recommended side, and still have a couple weeks to return it so we'll see

UNPREDICTABLE
Started out ok but the heat is all over the place. So far I have been unable to use it at the highest setting or even the middle settings. 113 is nearly unbearably hot. I think I have a bad thermostat. I have it on the lowest setting of 113 (odd numbers: 113, 167?) and intermittently it goes into HI heat and I have to remove the pad because it starts burning my skin AT THE LOWEST SETTING. I especially dislike the pad goes instantly to the hottest setting immediately on timer and you have to cycle through all the settings to get to the lowest before you burn yourself. Bad design.POSITIVES: It is a good large size for overall encompassing your body parts. Removable soft washable cover. The cord is long but could still be longer. The heavy weighted part is excellent for allowing the pad to press onto your skin. Definite plus there.Still would not recommend unless this is just a fluke and I got a bad unit.

Weighted heating pad
Wonderful quality. Has 4 heat levels. I got the large one which goes from your shoulders to the bottom of your back. I got the weighted on and comes with a washable thick cover. Works perfectly. Helps relieve pain and great value for your money.

Works awesome
I love this pad. It has good temperature variations. You actually do feel moisture compared to other heating pads. It takes away the pain in my shoulder pretty much instantly.

The best and hottest electric heating pad on Amazon by far!
I've tried 6 electric heating pads and this is by far the hottest and best! If you want high heat this is as good as electric pads get.It actually gets hot, and the weighted version helps stay close to the body in a comfortable way. Other pad just get warm.Note that for safety it doesn't always stay at peak heat and fluctuates a bit over time heating and losing some heat. It does this for safety reasons. The main heating element is right in the center on the opposite of the side with the text. So for best heat results I recommend ensuring your pad is the correct side down, the room has a humidifier and to keep it in the same place or under a blanket to retain heat and wrap the area to heat. That keeps heat in instead of losing it.
