Silly panning behaviour
The Smooth Q3 is a beautiful gimbal in many respects. The ergonomics are quite nice and it folds down neatly. The LED indicator lights to let you know what follow mode you're in are handy, as well as the dedicated buttons for power, mode, etc. I also prefer a clamp like this over the strange magnetic thing DJI have on their more recent versions of the Osmo Mobile.None of that matters, however, if a gimbal can't give you professional looking footage. Unfortunately, in many situations the Smooth Q3 will give you amateur looking footage or simply behave in frustrating ways. Most notably, in Pan Follow mode, if you are turning the gimbal, it will move too suddenly, resulting in jarring panning shots. There is no way to correct this on the gimbal or in the ZY Cami app.While DJI gimbals are not without their flaws, the Osmo Mobile gimbals perform much smoother and predictable panning, both automatic, and when controlled from the joystick.I've no idea why all the YouTube reviewers gave this gimbal a free pass despite the fatal flaw.

Bluetooth fail.
Right out the box. Connected to Bluetooth once. During that time , firmware update needed. Nope it won't do that. Turned it off for a a hour. Now won't connect to Bluetooth after reinstall app. Resetting Bluetooth. I've had it 5hrs , so far nothing but trouble. please be aware that the firmware can only be updated via your pc.Edit. I purchased a second Smooth Q3 gimbal in hope the next one had no issues.Sadly not. I tried connecting to 3 different Samsung phones. S8, S10 plus S21 Plus. After many many attempts. Installing and reinstalling app software. Not one one would connect. Android App really needs to be on the same level as Apple. As the android app even misses some features that Apple has.

stable and easy to use
The media could not be loaded. very stable and easy to setup/use. way better than the other ones i had before and better than the previous version. the light function is perfect for selfie! would recommend it
