Excellent choice
I got this air conditioner for a 350 sq foot addition with a vaulted ceiling. The windows in this room are sliders, and I had looked at both the casement window units and normal units for double hung windows. I opted for this ac, because they have much better sere ratings and features than any casement window units. They're also about 40% cheaper. I made a frame using 2x2s and 1x4s that I screwed into the frame on the side and top The window closes against the other side. I used plexiglass to close in the top part of the frame. It sits sturdily and securely in its place. The cooling is phenomenal and it cycles as it should on all modes. The day I installed it was 93 degrees in central Michigan. The room cooled to 74 in less than 2 hours. The girlfriend actually sits under a blanket, because on high she feels cold. Lol. Definitely recommend this unit

Very powerful, great price
Bought this in an emergency as our central unit failed. Used it for two weeks and it cooled a large area beyond the bedroom we had it in. Very impressed.

Extreme power for its price
I have an 800 square foot apartment and this AC Unit has been a godsend for my hot apartment in LA. I have it in the window of my living room area and it is seriously cools down the place in 15 minutes flat. I'm super happy with my purchase!

Cools Room Super Fast But is Loud!
The AC cools the room faster than any AC we've ever had & love the auto on/off feature but if using while sleeping, it's loud & the blue LCD light is very bright.

Broke after two years
The media could not be loaded. The control panel stopped working. It randomly turns on and off. It’s no longer operable. It’s only been two years.

Pretty Good
The AC gets cold but it's odd as it gets colder on low speed than it does when it's on medium or high. I have the 6000 and 10000 btu and they both have this exact issue.
