A great low carb snack!
I absolutely love these! As a recently diagnosed diabetic I really missed my crunchy salty snacks and these work as a fantastic replacement. I’ve ordered them several times throughout the past year and have never been disappointed. Don’t expect the bag to fill to the top like popcorn, but do expect a warm tasty snack. About 1 min 40 sec in my 1500w microwave works perfectly for me. Enjoy!

Wow!! Great taste!!
These are some of, if not, the best pork rinds I’ve had. Leaps and bounds above store bought. The warm “fresh out of fryer” pork rinds. Perfect portion, perfect taste, and guilt free. What more can you ask for?! Stop looking and but then already!!

Quick Ketogenic Low-Carb High-Protein Microwaveable Snack
There's certainly a convenience factor I miss sometimes with my ketogenic/ultra-low-carb lifestyle, in that it's not simple to grab a snack like an apple, candy or energy bar, or even microwaveable popcorn. The microwaveable popcorn for me is what this obviously replaces and overall it's nice to have a low-carb high protein hot and quickly available option. These last a long time shelved, are easy to open, and taste pretty darn good with beer (Miller lite only 3.4 carbs FYI, even Guinness not super high on the carb scale). Friends (most of whom are not on keto or low-carb diets, as I recognize some people like myself just get excited that there's 'something' we can eat lol) like these, and they're easy to prepare on a moment's notice.More Protein Per Bacony Bag Than Most Protein Shakes! An entire bag has 35 grams of protein (most protein shakes averaging 20-35 grams), whereas a traditional bag of pork rinds will have 49. Keeping focused on macros, these types of snacks seriously fill a nutritional deficit in my diet while tasting good. I'd prefer these or cheese vs mixing up a protein shake especially enjoyable conveniently without preparation when on the go.They've got different taste than traditional pork rinds, and certainly a lot of salt. Overall a good flavor, almost like something you'd expect to be served as bar food. I still consume more traditional pork rinds than I do these, particularly as these cost almost twice as much for half the volume. Unlike pork rinds, these aren't easy to bag up and get back to later, though I can't see really having 'leftovers' either. I've still got plenty of packets from this large stash, and sincerely enjoy the convenience factor. I'd not even known such a thing existed, however Amazon's buy me algorithm's as always are dead on accurate with hacking ways into my mind and body based on browsing and purchase history LOL This is a Quick, Salty, Convenient Yummy snack!I'll snack around one of these a week and 2-3 bags of traditional rinds a week. Weird personal share, I used to be a vegetarian and even kept Kosher before. As much as I'm enjoying these, there's part of my existence that pauses both on Microwave and Pork Rinds. I rarely use the microwave for anything besides occasional short-notice meat defrosts. And this, my shameful divulgence. I'm kinda surprised that I like these.Taste is good, not phenomenal. Considering I know of no other product like this to compare it to, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. There's something I'm having a challenging time describing with flavor, and perhaps it's the MSG I'm not used to. Who knows, it's not bad just weird. Wish the price were more competitively priced in the microwaveable popcorn range, however overall for a high-protein low-carb snack, this is a winner.

Delicious
These are great for a movie night. Low carb compared to popcorn and great flavor. We take them anywhere there is a microwave.

Delicious, nutritious and easy to make
These are delicious although a bit salty. I like the spicy ones better than the regular, but you can flavor the regular ones by pouring out the 'chips' onto a plate and sprinkling them with hot sauce (or whatever) before you microwave them. Crispy, crunchy, tender and great to team up with a beer. Here's what you need to know. Although pork rinds have an aura of unhealthiness, these are substantially better nutritionally than light microwaved popcorn. They are actually lower in fat, higher in protein and amino acids, and lower in carbs. In fact, you can eat the whole package and get ~240 calories, 8g fat and 32g protein with almost zero carb. The amino acid profile is very good..low in the 3 that you really don't want to over consume and high in the ones you do.Pork rinds are also an excellent source of gelatin...the unctuous stuff from bones, connective tissue, skin and so forth that makes your pot roast and fried chicken skin taste good. Turns out its also a great source of protein and aminos. Depending on which study you read it may improve your skin, hair, nails and might help with arthritic conditions. It might even reduce the signs of aging and help with cell regeneration.I've also solved the problem with how long you cook them. Cook them in the popcorn bag for 90 seconds. Dump them out into a bowl. Any small brown ones didn't cook. Put them on a plate and cook for 30 seconds. You'll see them expand into the finished product. I'm not even sure you need the bag at all, I think they're just trying to simulate microwave popcorn. Next time I cook them I'm just going to dump them out into a large bowl and nuke until I see they're all cooked.Edit: that worked fine. I dumped them out onto a plate, spread them out and nuked them. They all expanded and around the time the last one expanded I noted a darkening spot on one of the first ones to 'pop'. I could have stopped it half way through to take out the ones that were done, but being able to watch the process made cooking them simple. No pops, spatter or any sort of mess at all. Unless you wanted to eat them out of the bag in the car, this is the way to go.Great snack, my kid loves them. My dogs too. Very satiating and way better for you than chips or popcorn.

Strange Flavoring
Convenience of product is good but there is a strange odor, quite similar to shavings of a "wood / graphite" pencil when it is sharpened. Actually, it brought back those memories! Sounds like a weird comparison but that is exactly what we detected; maybe it is the combination of spices used, however, it is somewhat off-putting. The bag retains the odor so maybe the pork rinds are best poured into another container after cooking. Not great product or taste. Would not buy again; should have purchased one pack to try before buying the large quantity.
