Doesn't support video input from PS5
Plugs and plays fine into computer, just doesn't support any video resolution from the PS5 at all, just delivers the error 'no support'.Don't waste your money

High Quality Video Capture Box
The media could not be loaded. Sturdy, lightweight box. The device features HDMI in, HDMI out, USB 3.0, headphone jack and mic jack. These things are great for when you want to focus on the task at hand - recording video, without draining on CPU processing power which judges other tasks and compromises performance. It can be used to capture gaming or you can plug into any medium such as camcorders, blurry, DVD players etc to get a digital version of whatever you’r putting into it. The device supports.Great recording performance without a hitch in OBS without freezing. I’ve also witnessed no noticeable lag.A very competitively priced video capture box. Recommended.

Gaming in 4K
My BBF has joined the video conversion revolution!! He has decided to do all his mum's vids (that's what he'd says, I know he is just gonna record his gaming in 4k!) Lol ... Spose he could do both, lol!!

Simple, easy to use Capture card with great results.
Streaming and vlogging are huge right now, especially with 2020 bringing lots more people being housebound and looking for a hobby (Or another source of income) and as a long time gamer I wanted to see if I could start to capture my victories (and humiliations). I use a console, specifically a Xbox series X. After doing some research the easiest way capture video quickly is to get one of these capture cards. The set up is super simple, the capture card has 3 connections. A HDMI in you input the output from your console (the connection that usually goes to your tv), a HDMI out which you connect to your tv and a USB out, which you connect to your computer. In my case I use a laptop which has a reasonable I5 processor in it. But by having a capture card you don’t need the power of the laptop to do anything other than record, so you’ll probably get away with less. Now in terms of next steps I looked online and a lot of people suggested OBS Studio as software, so I downloaded it and it installed without issue and it really is easy to set up. Straight away it detected my capture card when I added a new device and within minutes it was showing an input to capture. You can then add additional inputs (Like camera to video yourself and Microphone so you can capture your voice). Once all set up you are basically done for video capturing.I’ve had this set up for about 2 weeks now and it’s been flawless, working every time with clear recording. I only bother to use 1080p capturing because I don’t want to take up too much storage on my laptop and it's amazingly clear and smooth.. To start I turn on my console, turn on my laptop and boot up OBS and this card works first every time. The only downside I’ve found is that the card does not allow HDR passthrough to my TV. It does allow 4k at 60hz which is what I play my Series x on, ( I don’t have a 120hz tv). To get round this I actually already had a 4k UHD HDR splitter so I use the output from this to go to the capture card and other other side in 4k HDR to my tv and it all works great. To get a HDR output one I think you’ll pay more than double this price and everything is super clear and easy to use, so for the price I paid and how it works I think it’s probably the best card I could have got. Very happy.
