Lifter works great but I had to buy other sliders
I remember giving my mother some grief about using this... now I own one. Mom's are usually right folks. When you have a large bed you cannot lift, use this! When you have a couch you cannot lift, use this! Dresser... well, you get the point. The lifting feature is the best. I do wish it had just a few more inches past the fulcrum so I could lift taller objects with feet that I cannot get under. It is a little tricky getting the end underneath the furniture but wiggling it around will get it far enough under to lift it and then more wiggling it will lift enough for you to push the the sliderunder with the other foot.Once the carpet slider is underneath, I can push a four poster bed with a memory foam mattress all by myself. Now, the drawback. I do not like the little white and blue sliders. They aren't big enough for most large pieces of furniture. My couch feet slid off of them and it was irritating. They needed to include at least two or four 6 inch by 6 inch slider pads for carpet. I ended up going to the local big box store and purchased the brown sliders which came in a super large multi-pack. Kind of a bummer.BUT I wouldn't trade doing it this way. The lifter is where I had a real problem. I'm not a muscular gal, so there were things I couldn't lift up enough to get a slider beneath. This solves the biggest problem for me. And the ones that come with it are okay, but not big enough.

I LOVE them!
We recently moved to a brand new construction home (with wood floors) and through my research of what one now has to deal with as a homeowner, I came across an article of what to do to protect wood floors. This lead me to stumble upon moving systems and furniture felt protectors (for the wood floors). Because there are so many moving systems out there, this one caught my eye as it was "as seen on TV". So like any other person, I YouTubed this and I was sold within the first couple of minutes. This is a genius invention, it really glides from carpet to my new wood floors and vice versa. This was the only reason I started looking into these products, to protect my new wood floors. Look no further and buy these if you are reading these and are contemplating on something like this. YES they do cost a bit more but they are well worth your $$. You wont be disappointed. To give you an idea, I am 5'3' and weigh 110lbs. I'm strong but not strong enough to pull a 6 drawer dresser, 4ft long or armoire by myself across the carpet and avoid bugging my husband every time I get tired of the look of the bedroom and decide to rearrange. These literally work anywhere. I can move the dresser/armoire within milli seconds with hardly no force/effort. The only "complaint" I have is that the "power bar" it comes with (to lift up the piece of furniture) you sometimes cannot get it under the furniture piece and if you do, to pull it out from under the furniture once you remove the furniture sliders, is a hassle. It gets stuck and you gotta get creative, be a bit strong and quick to lift up the furniture piece for about 1 sec and pull the sliders out, which kind of defeats the purpose?! Other than that, I LOVE them, I would definitely recommend these. My husband started using them as well as he needed to move our washer/dryer without damaging our wood floors. Now he learned the hard way as he damaged a small part of our woof floors while he was moving the dryer, there after, he used them and it was so much easier for him. I hate (not really) to tell him this but "I told you so" suits it. He repaired the damaged wood floor btw and even uses them in the garage from time to time to move one of his tool boxes he has (without wheels) that weigh hundreds of lbs. Husbands: PLEASE avoid "I told you so" from your wives by not scratching/breaking or damaging your floors and buy these!

This is a great product but it would be perfect with some tweaking ...
I have a buddy that raved so much about this product that I bought one solely based on his recommendations.Having attempted to move several things with it - I'd have to say it's a good, not great product. It works best on slick, versus carpeted, floors. If I had my choice, I would -1) make the slides much larger. I did notice online they have some professional options that offer larger pads, but I don't see a way to purchase just the slides.2) Design a handle / lever that can be used with taller furniture. For instance, for the most part, if a piece of furniture has short legs, I can lift it up high enough to shove a slide under the foot even without using the lever. But if I'm dealing wit a piece of furniture with a tall leg, that's where the real struggle comes in. You can't use the lever - and when you bend lift your other arm is not long enough to position the slide (unless you have arms like the nightmare walker in that movie Legion). I was a little bummed because I have a LOT of furniture with Queen Anne legs and it was one of the main reasons I bought this thing. Not everyone has my old-fashioned decorating tastes, so overall, I think most people be happy with it hence my 4 star rating.
