Well built, but display window is VERY DIM.
This power supply is well made and easy to use once it is set up by the user. Output voltage and current is stable and noise free. I like this power supply except for one big problem...and that is the displayed volage in GREEN digits is VERY DIM and hard to read. The displayed current in RED digits is bright and easy to read.See included photo.Perhaps the manufacturer has a remedy for this, or maybe there is an internal adjustment for the displaybrightness. I would give a 5 star review if the displayed voltage in GREEN numbers were brighter. I hope the manufacturer can help me with this.UPDATE: Nov. 29, 2022I could not return the power supply to Amazon, because I was past the 30 day return window. So I emailed Matrix Technology and explained my problem with the dim GREEN numbers. The promptly replied they have a revised GREEN number display they can send to me at no charge. They wanted to know if I thought I could do the removal of the old number display, and then install the new one. I said yes, I have worked on all kinds of electronic equip. for more than 40 years. So they sent the new GREEN displays and I installed them, and now the front panel display window looks perfect! It took about 2 hours to do the entire job. Not difficult for me, but not something for a beginner. I want to thank the Customer Service/Support department at Matrix for being very helpful in this process. They went the extra mile with advice and help. Especially the woman I was in contact with. I don't think I can include a name or personal info. She was excellent. This is an great power supply, and Matrix Technology is a top notch first class company. So I am now changing my review from 3 stars to 5 stars. I would add more stars, but 5 is the limit. I am very pleased and happy with the solution supplied by Matrix Technology. I am including another photo showing the new GREEN display. You can compare the 2 photos. If you need a good bench power supply, this is the one to get if it meets your requirements.

Problem with green displays being very dim compared to the red ones
Not fully evaluated yet, but initial impression is less than stellar due to very dim green displays. Just received it today, but really don't want to return it. From the reviewit s, I see that at least one other person has experienced this issue as well. Seems like a nice power supply and has the better spec's in this price range...perhaps the manufacturer will reach out to get this resolved. I guess I will have to check it out further and make a decisionUpdate: reached out to Mfg regarding display issue. They offered to provide replacement displays or even the assembled board, I accepted their offer for the board and just received it. Packaging could have been better since the box was crushed, but the board appeared undamaged. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the power supply and the company's response to the issue. With this, I added 2 stars to make it 5 stars.

SImply EXCELLENT
I also had the dim voltage readout, not a big deal, but I wrote to Matrix for help. This is a five star review because their customer service is the best.Their representative who contacted me was April Fang.April showed genuine concern and worked with me to ship the parts I needed. The fix was a bit involved, but well worth it.The power supply is now working great, as always, and a nicer display.Thank you April, thank you Matrix

Very nice Power supply
This is a nice power supply. The screen is bright, and the output voltage and current are accurate.

Safety adj. Delay should be optional.
To adjust anything on this power supply, you always need to first press any knob your going to use to adjust, then you have 5 seconds to adjust before it'll no longer adjust. It's OK for some critical circuitry safety measures, but should be an optional feature thru its menus. At least you can turn off the beep sound every time you need to push the knob to make adjustments, in its menu.

Great build quality and precision.
I'm very happy with the great quality and precision of this Power Supply. Very versatile for floating pos. and neg. rail applications. The flexible settings for OC and OV are very helpful. Wish more overseas companies would produce this quality. Maybe your company will inspire others that quality, and not cheap - barely compliant product design, will pay off in the long run. Thank you!

Massive Overvolt when using output switch
Every time you use the output switch to turn an output on, the unit briefly switches to CC mode…which can cause MASSIVE overshoot on the voltage (confirmed on 2 different oscilloscopes) depending on the current settings and the load in question (for example if you have a 500mA max current on a 3.3V on a microcontroller board the supply will try to FORCE 500mA when you hit the output switch). The overshoot can easily be on the order of a few VOLTS…not mV. This can easily fry a piece of electronics. It’ll even violate the OVP rules and voltage target set. NOT SAFE!!Otherwise, seems to be a solid unit. Voltage and current capabilities are great especially for the price, build quality is ok (apart from the fact that the buttons don’t latch…that’s annoying but no big deal). Fans get loud when current goes over 8 amps but that’s understandable. Measurements on-screen are bang-on (compared against a Fluke 87V).Overall it would be a great unit if if wasn’t for this massive overshoot in voltage due to CC mode being active every time you use the output switch. As it is…will probably return. It’s a matter of time before I use the button and overvolt/destroy something when I get forgetful. Huge bummer
