This is perfect for having lights under the kitchen cabinet if you don't want to run whole new wires. Work perfect. The charge lasts for weeks so it makes it convenient. You just charge for 6 to 8 hours then you are good for a couple months. I has the sensor option so that when you open a pantry or approach the kitchen cabinet it turns on - so you don't have to turn on all the bright kitchen lights at night or early in the morning.

The media could not be loaded. I just recently got these so can’t attest to the longevity of these, but they are rechargable. They charged up easily. They have 3 modes. On, motion sense or off. These work pretty good. Super easy to install. I like them a lot though. Brightens up my work space when cooking dinner and its nice to have them come on when trying to get a drink of water or a snack at night. If I had more upper cabinets to put them under, I would buy more. Also, they are magnetic. Making them super easy to put back on or take off to charge. I like being able to walk into my kitchen when it's dark and the lights come on.

Pros- The light is soft and easy on the eyes.- The product looks beautiful.- The sensor functions well.- The adhesive strip and magnets hold well. I mounted some with the strips and others by just placing the light against a magneticmetal surface in our closets/cabinets. So easy!- 2-yr warranty, so when one stopped recharging after ~8 months, the seller replaced it immediately (but... see Cons, below).- I use these to light several closets and a dreaded "blind corner" cabinet in the kitchen. Surprisingly, having this light in the cabinet has transformed the cabinet more than ANYTHING else (rolling racks, etc) I've ever purchased over the years to try to make the cabinet usable.Cons- As of yesterday (~8 months since purchase), 3 of my 4 lights (one set of small and one set of large) are now having, or have had, issues. Initially, the battery would last several months before the light started to look dim; then, the lights would still look dim after daily charging (2 just entered this phase this week). Then, after a couple weeks, they just don't charge at all (one reached this phase and was replaced by the seller recently, but I believe the other 2 will need replacement very soon too). So, based on 3 of my 4 lights, the lifespan seems to be ~8-9 months, making the $40/set price feel VERY steep, even with the 2-yr warranty. I see they're now listed at $30/set. Based on lifespan, $15/set seems more fair. But honestly, at ANY price, I'd rather just have lights with better longevity as I hate throwing things away so soon.

Easy to install, charge, recharge, and use. Be sure you have the hanging bracket where you want it before sticking to the surface. Once it is stuck, it is not removable without ruining the existing sticky surface. A great light.

These lights were easy to install and use. They give a nice bright light right where you need it. I liked them so well, I bought another set. Most likely, I'm going to buy even more. They recharge with a USB making them convenient and cost effective.

I went to Leoptec's website to inquire, and AFTER asking for order details via email, they told me I'd have to request after-sales services from the Amazon seller, not the manufacturer. So I sent Tocta-US (the seller I bought from) an inquiry through Amazon. They asked what the defects were, I explained them, and they sent me replacement lights. So good on them for that, and I'll revise my rating up to 3 stars, because the product shouldn't have had that problem to start with, but the seller provided great service to fix (replace) them.My question now is: How long will the replacements last? We'll see. Original review describing the product defect is below.ORIGINAL REVIEW: This product was the perfect solution for my kitchen lighting problem, and upon receiving and installing my first set, I immediately ordered more. But the victory didn't last long.I have 16 of these, and half of them are currently useless.The problem is that at some point, the lights start flickering on and off, even when the switch in the OFF position (as opposed to the G/motion sensor position), and then later on down the line, they just stay on indefinitely until they're out of battery. You can charge them up again, IF you can get them to stay off long enough to charge (by messing with the switch a bit you can sometimes find a PERFECT position where the light will stay off), but it seems like once they start flickering, they'll eventually just get to the point where they stay on forever regardless of which position the switch is in.So it feels like the switches are bad, but I don't know enough about electronics to diagnose it definitively as such. I took one of the lights apart to see if there was anything that seemed wonky (messed up solder, wires touching each other, etc) that could be causing the lights to stay illuminated even when the switch is set to G or OFF, but I couldn't find anything.What I *do* know is that eight of my sixteen lights are essentially useless at this point. At first it was just one of them behaving this way, then another, and now half of them are either fully stuck ON permanently, or getting close to that. Which is such a shame because this product was EXACTLY what I was looking for when it works correctly. Very bright, but not harsh, light. Sure, the charge only lasts for about 6-8 hours, and the light does get dimmer over the course of that time, but I don't mind charging them daily for use while cooking at night.I can't speak to the adhesive, because I attached the magnetic strips to the underside of my cabinet with Command strips instead, although the magnetic strip DID have a thin plastic layer that you need to peel off first, as some people have noted. (Actually, the most recent set I ordered had two small magnetic attachments for the underside of the cabinet as opposed to one long magnet strip.)The motion sensing only works in the dark, and some have complained that it's too sensitive, but if you cover part of the motion detector with tape, you can kinda "tune" it to be less sensitive to your tastes. I really didn't care about that feature anyway, and in light of the issue (presumably with the switch), I kinda wish they made one with just a simply push-button ON/OFF and no motion detection at all, but if that's a product that exists in this form factor, I haven't found it yet.Anyway, a real shame. I can't really recommend the product when 50% of the ones I purchased are malfunctioning a year later. I still use the eight that work properly, and still like them. The only reason I'm giving two stars instead of one is that the product was a great value - when it worked - and half of mine still do, but I assume they eventually break as well.

Light mounts easily and works as expected. Depending on foot traffic oast the light at night battery can be a short lived in motion mode. I have put a couple of them in dark pantrys or closets and they work great there

We used these to replace old wired lights in our closets. I prefer these. They shine a great light and really do not have to charge them often - maybe once every 6 months. These are sleek and perfect. I tried battery ones and the hard wired ones and these are by far my favourite.

Add that finishing touch to your house. Great for those dark wardrobes or kitchen cabinets to add a subtle touch of care when visitors come, and provide practicality for your every-day. You want the light to blink twice for cabinet/ wardrobe use - that it lights up when it detects motion. The first press leaves it on 24/7, the press makes the light only turn on at night but the third makes the light turn on in all lighting conditions once it detects movement.

Love the warm colour for our kitchen. Very easy to install and they really work well on the motion sensor setting. We now have them under our kitchen cabinets and in our corner pantry. Highly recommend!
