Fantastic fit. Great screen. This had a non-glare finish. It may be my imagination, but this replacement screen looked better than the original to me - and not just because it didn't have a big crack running across the corner of it.This was easy to install using plenty of youtube video guidance out there. The two most difficult parts were first, getting over the fear of breaking the plastic bezel around the edge when removing the old screen. Second, being VERY careful with the final connector. It's not a solid only-goes-in-the-way-it's-supposed-to fit. It is possible to mess it up. Before disconnecting your old screen, look at the connection very carefully and commit it to memory. Take a couple pictures. Otherwise, you'll sit and wonder "did I put that in right?"Also, don't forget that your chromebook comes on when you lift the screen, so be sure to power it back down when you open it to remove the screen. Doing this under power can potentially fry your new screen.All in all, easy to do.

NOTE: This is review attempt #2. I have read the Amazon review guidelines and revised my review to the following...---------------------------------------Item arrived with a dead pixel. It is not just a black dot. There is about a quarter inch halo around the dead pixel. It is very distracting. I have a feeling this is why the screen is so cheap. Perhaps the manufacturer tests the screens and sells those with a dead pixel for $30 cheaper or something to the vendors here. Or maybe it's just one of those things, dead pixels happen, I know. But, I always seem to get the dead pixel screens when I order the cheapest one I can find online. Coincidence?ABOUT THESE SCREENS:When I bought my Samsung Chromebook used, it already had 1 dead pixel (just a black dot, no halo) and that screen only lasted 3 months. When I put this replacement in, I could see the screen had already been replaced previously...most likely with the cheapest screen the previous owner could find before he resold it to me (maybe he bought the most expensive one he could find, but I would bet that he did what I did and Googled up the best price, which I personally found right here on Amazon).So, I have low expectations for the lifespan of this screen considering it has a dead pixel fresh out of the box. When it dies, I will throw the computer away rather than invest more money in cheap screens for a fairly lame computer.My suggestion if you plan to bargain shop for a screens here would be to do it the way some people buy guitars: order 5 of them at once to improve your odds of getting a good one (no damaged pixels)...and then send the other 4 back. Better odds, less time wasted and Amazon offers free returns.UPDATES:If it dies in 3 months like the last one, I will update the review to reflect that.

This screen is soo easy to replace! I pulled mine out and checked the part number, and this was the exact replacement down to the version. I was packaged very well, and it fit perfectly without issue! Glad to have my computer back. DEFINITELY check original screen part number with the version as some are not compatible.

When I realized that I cracked the screen on my Chromebook I was really bummed but then found out that it was a fairly easy DIY fix! Being able to swap out the screens was a lot cheaper than buying a whole new unit. This screen was exactly what I needed for my Samsung 11" Chromebook. I recommend disconnecting your old screen and checking the product number against this one to make sure it is exactly what you need. I connected the new screen and "fixed" my Chromebook in less than 10 minutes! I definitely recommend this and don't be afraid of replacing the screen yourself. You can find a lot of video tutorials online - just follow that!

First of all, this screen was easy to install, and worked perfectly on first power up. This was a great end to an aggravating experience with another Amazon seller of this screen. Twice the other seller provided the wrong item. Although the item description called out B116XW03 V.1, I actually received B116XW03 V.0 the side tabs of which do not line up with the mounting holes in my Samsung Chromebook (besides being a glossy rather than matte screen). After my 2nd receipt of the wrong item, I called Amazon customer service. The Rep issued an alert on the other seller, provided compensation for my aggravation, and shipped my 3rd screen overnight. I'm very happy to have my Chromebook back in operation.

Someone shattered my samsung chromebook screen >:( I have no idea how it happened but wanted it quickly resolved so I located this replacement screen and a handy friend helped me install it. Honestly there weren't many options and I wanted it make sure I got the right part, so I paid more attention to the model / fit thats the screen quality. I didn't realize the picture would be slightly sub-par and it's definitely not as fluid as the original. there are times you can see the color separation / blotchiness. I can't articulate the right words for that but it just isn't great. but, it's better than a scattered screen so...

This screen is a step up in visual quality from the original matte chromebook screen. However, the screw holes didn't line up exactly. As a result, we just snapped on the bezel and it seems to hold the display in place. But try as we might, we could not fit the screen in the case so that the screw holes lined up.

The part arrived in two days as promised. The part is a 40 pin which is exactly the part I needed. My son installed the new screen and the chromebook is back up and running! Excellent resolution. We are so glad we choose to replace the screen! It was an easy and economical fix.
