Petite? What a Game Changer!!
I am petite, VERY petite, and not terribly young. I've had it with supermarket carts that are anywhere from large and heavy to huge and heavy. I can barely see over a Costco (warehouse store) cart. I always dreamed of having a sturdy, reasonably lightweight, functional and foldable cart to take with me grocery and warehouse shopping. My dream became a reality!I saw the CLAX cart as a pop-up ad on social media and immediately knew it was for me. I went to my Amazon app to look it up, and fell in love with the red trimmed one. I ordered it on a Tuesday, and received it Thursday at 12:30 pm. I went shopping with it at 1 pm. I was the superstar of the supermarket! I heard everything from, "Where did you get that?" to "That is so cute!" to people commenting to others they were with, "Wow...that's so cool!" One person even said, "The stores allow you to take that in?" Over all, many heads turned! I tried to get through Costco quickly the following day, but had to stop and answer questions about the cart for half the time I was there. Everyone wanted one. For all of the information I provided, I should get a cut of the sales! Lol.This cart is sturdy, turns and spins on a dime, holds a lot, is relatively lightweight and easily lifted to put in the car, folds up quickly and easily, and the crates open and collapse easily. I did purchase the second foldable crate for the bottom and happy that I did.So far, I LOVE it. And let's face it...I enjoy the attention and conversations it brings! I do hope it lasts without breaking for more than the five months that one purchaser reported. If it doesn't, hopefully the company will stand behind this product. One negative....CLAX Company....Relative to unpacking...PLEASE put the instruction book on TOP of the unit and not closed up IN the collapsed crate. I couldn't figure out how to open/unlock the collapsed crate, so I had to watch a YouTube video to figure out how to open up the crate in order to access the instruction book!I don't ever want to do any kind of shopping again without this cart! As an aside, in my pictures the bottom of the cart looks like it tilts down. It is just the picture angle. The bottom is perfectly straight and level!

Lights and folds down so easy
Bought 2 of these. One for my aging parents and another for my daughter who lives in an apartment.- Set up was easy-you just snap in the wheels- Folding it up to put in your trunk only takes one hand- This cart is very light!- It holds a lot. Groceries can be brought up in one trip!- The basket that comes with is a must, after you figure out how to close it (easy)- The bottom of cart holds 2 cases of water or laundry detergent, etc.- The brake can be easily operated by your foot by lifting up or down on it.- You can also carry something tall, just lift up the top cart area. We brought up a smaller cabinet once.People compliment all the time at the apartment and ask where we got the cart.I chose this cart because...* I didn't want to put anything together* I wanted something light (to lift in/out of car)* I didn't want something I had to assemble when using it each time.- It was a little pricy, but its well made and each time we use this, I am so happy I made the purchase!

Worth Every Penny
I absolutely love this product! The CLAX folding cart is incredibly versatile and so easy to use. It’s perfect for shopping trips, carrying heavy items, or even for organizing at home. The collapsible design makes it super convenient to store when not in use, and the storage crate adds extra functionality. Made in Germany, the quality is excellent, and it’s definitely worth every penny. I use it all the time and highly recommend it!

Easy up, Easy down! Steers like a champ! Might be bulky for some to lift.
I am correcting this review from four stars up to five stars. I have used it several times now, and finally figured out that it has two handle settings! I didn’t feel like it leaned back far enough to keep me from kicking the wheels while I walked, so I was walking beside the cart most of the time instead of behind it. It was still a wonderful cart worth having, but slightly annoying in crowded situations. I finally figured out that when the cart is done unfolding, it is on its tall, upright setting. You push the button again and pull back on the handle a little, and it adjusts to its “shopping cart” position that you see in all the pictures. No more kicking the wheels while walking behind it. Now I am a very, very, happy shopper.I bought this cart because I am new at Costco, and their carts are way too high for my short frame. I will also be using it for an elderly woman I take grocery shopping because we need to get her groceries from the the car and up her driveway hill in just one trip. Lastly, I will be toting music books to and from the car into nursing homes for our choir outings. Two other "utility" carts have failed to be able to handle the terrain. This one looks like it might do!So, I just got my new Clax Shopping cart. Easy assembly right out of the box. Just attach the wheels! Little picture card shows instructions on exactly how to do everything for everyday use. It took me longer to figure out the card than it did to assemble the thing—about 5 or 6 minutes total!I saw some reviews about taking the wheels on and off for every use. I do not plan to ever do that. It sits perfectly upright in a small amount of space if you just leave the wheels on. I plan to leave mine in the trunk most of the time. Then it will be there for a quick stop any time something comes up. It also fits easily between the seats if the trunk is full, but the maneuvering is a little tricky the first couple of times. So, I took it out for a test run, and here is what I found so far.PROS: 1. Easy Assembly. Open and up in less than five minutes out of the delivery box!2. Easy open: Easy Close. Ten to fifteen seconds at the most! It only takes that long because lining up the basket with the base of the cart takes longer than all the rest! The mechanism seems to do all the work for you with very little effort. I do agree with another review that the button might be too hard for arthritis people, but I believe that it needs to be enough pressure that it cannot be done accidentally. I wouldn't have even noticed if it had not been mentioned. Also, the weight of the cart might also be too much for arthritis folks, too. It is only 21lbs, but the shape makes it a little awkward to lift up. It has a very sturdy metal frame. This makes me believe that it will last me for years to come.HINT/TIP: It is easier to work with the tie-downs if you pull by the round part underneath the support instead of pulling from the top. You really don't see these from the top. At first, you have to place your thumbs on the top of the tie-down and reach underneath with your fingers until you get to the rounded edge and pull out and up. I will be adding a video later, when my son can help me with the camera.3. Easy to steer! Wow! This thing turns on a dime and weaves in and out of "traffic" like the pro it is! It didn't "bounce" over the speed bumps in the parking lot--just glided right over. I admit that I haven't filled it up with its maximum weight capacity yet, but I have gotten it quite full. So far it is amazing to steer!4. Seems very sturdy! Love the larger wheels that look and feel like they will last a long time. The solid frame is heavy enough to be strong and durable.5. The braking mechanism is WONDERFUL! Wide, easy "step-on" brake holds cart very firmly while unloading, even on slightly graded parking lots. Then just lift up with your foot from underneath the brake to release. Love, love, love this brake!CONS: 1. It seems impossible to get a second basket for the bottom! I waited four months for the extra basket option to come in before ordering the cart without it. The company has pushed that date at least three times that I can see, and they still are not available! I have purchased a fairly large grey bin for the bottom, but it doesn’t fit neatly like the original does on top—very frustrating! Of course, I realize that this might be more of a Covid supply chain issue than a company issue, but for customers it is hard to tell the difference. My bin sits nicely and does the job, but I am still waiting for a second basket that will collapse nicely like the top one does.SUGGESTIONS: 1. When you get the spare crates in, send a notice to everyone who bought this cart so that we can order them. It would also be nice if you would give us the lower cost that we would have gotten had they been available when we bought the cart.2. Add a little picture on your instruction card of how to get the cart into the two positions for the handle. Conclusion:All in all, I am very happy with the cart itself. For a little “mini” cart, it can hold quite a bit. I can get a whole case of Costco toilet paper on the bottom shelf with no trouble! Set the brake first so that it won’t roll while you’re sliding it on. Just try to get a regular wire cart to hold still like that!
