I chose this key based on compatibility with my Honda Civic. I needed a spare key for emergencies and this one works great. I took the blank key to be cut and set. Overall, saved me a ton of money vs. going to the dealership to purchase a spare key.

replacing a oem key fob with bad motherboard(replaced battery had the dreadful led light that stayed on)i was told that it was a common (YouTube is your Friend) Places i called to program the Fob charges ($75-$100) no guarantees to work but if i buy from them they will guarantee for 3 months($80-$100)programed and cut Key Fob Price in California ($80-$100) Others will only use the fob they carry( Honda 2015Civic )

Programming was iffy, but cant say it is the key or the programmer. took all 5 slots in the car but got 2 keys to work correctly.Unfortunately for 2 months only. Started at first to randomly trigger car panic horns. Now just won't lock or unlock doors. Tried brand new battery, made no difference. Followed instructions of "long lock press while ignition ON but engine not started", also no luck.Wasted money on unreliable product. $30 to cut the key, cost of the key, and now can't even program another one (5 max in the car before dealer reset ($$$))

The website of recommended locations to get key cut was useful appreciated and reasonable regarding price comparisons.

I ordered this Remote Fob key, Uncut, for my 2015 Honda CRV, Key #MLBHLIK6-1T. It arrived in 2 days as scheduled. The original factory key was wearing out, it would start the car engine but failed to open or unlock doors. I took the new key and the 2nd good key to local locksmith for programming. To program key, you must have a 2nd key that works. The fee to program key was $85.00 ($135.00 at dealership), since the new key is "uncut", the fee to engrave key pattern is added $45.00.Rather than pay the $45 to cut key code, we simply replaced the circuit board from new key into old key casing. It fit perfectly. This seemed reasonable choice since the old case was still in good condition. I'll save the new key housing for that time when old housing wears out. The technician used his programming tool while inside my car. Hardly took him 5 minutes to program the new key circuit board. Now I have 2 keys both working perfectly. Cost for new key and programming = $112.00. Half the $230 quoted for new key at dealership. Hope this review helps.

Programmed my key and it worked! I cut my key for the 1st time using the lowest price horizonal mill/key cutter I could find and that worked. Now I have a $350 dollar working key that cost me $200 to make myself. Now the learning curve was really high, but I knew it would be difficult before I started. Planned this idea 3 months before I bought anything. I'm just saying. I am open to hard tasks and I love a challenge.

Worked perfectly. The “green motherboard thingy “ inside the original key was broken , I ordered this one and made an appointment for a locksmith to program it and they changed it over and it worked perfectly . Sn; that motherboard thingy is what the ppl in the Congo are dying over , free them

I read the reviews and saw that a gentleman had trouble with this fob and i should have listened to him. We took it to a locksmith and had the key cut and the key worked fine but all of buttons on the fob didn’t work. Yes we even tried changing the batteries to no avail.

Seems sturdy. Hopefully it last.

Soy cerrajero y tengo equipo para programación de llaves.Probe la frecuencia de la llave y en momentos funciona y después ya no o se queda emitiendo señal todo el tiempo como si estuvieran presionados los botones.Pensé que sería un producto de buena calidad pero es todo lo contrario
