The Ecobee EB-PS-01 Power Supply Adapter can be used as a power source for the Ecobee EB-STAT-02 and EB-EMS-02 thermostat and plugs into a standard 120 volt outlet. The Ecobee EB-PS-01 Power Supply Adapter can be used if a 24 volt power in not available from your furnace or air handler. The Ecobee EB-PS-01 Power Supply Adapter provides power directly to your thermostat. The Ecobee EB-PS-01 Power Supply Adapter is an optional accessory that is only required when you do not have a 24 volt power source from the furnace or air handler.
