The media could not be loaded.  It took only 5 minutes to install all 4 of them. I wore the gardening gloves included in the package, which were sufficient to protect my hands. They are easy to fit into the downspout as it connects to the gutter because they can be bent and molded into the shape you need to make them fit into your downspout holes. The gutter will still need periodic cleaning; otherwise, the gutters might overflow depending on how much dirt the gutter usually gets. However, it prevents leaves and debris from entering the downspouts, which are more difficult to clean if they get clogged. I am satisfied with their performance and quality: great idea and simple fix for clogged gutters.

Really don't need the gloves, just the strainers. Really could use a larger number in a package, had to order two.

We had some cabling by the gutter downspout that squirrels loved to chew; I put one in the bottom end of the downspouts and it has helped keep the squirrels away. It also works great in keeping the leaves from blocking the downspouts allowing better water flow. They are easy to install, the cut edges of the mesh are a little sharp but not harmful, and to avoid any unwanted cut, I am pleased with the seller for including excellent gloves that I can also use for gardening. Good value!

Saw a couple people say they couldn’t get the top to close. I’m guessing either their downspout hole was waaaaaay different than the average opening, they were inpatient, or couldn’t think outside the box. You stuff it to generally fill tue hole, then manipulate the areas with needle nose pliers and a flat head screwdriver to stretch snd fill the gaps. Aim to close the hole at the top first, then manipulate the gaps after that. Bonus: this kit comes with two fancy garden gloves, with one having claws fastened to the finger tips.

Had a problem with the eyes of the garage door eye beams getting hit. I placed these around each eye and problem fixed.

I got these for our downward spout, which allows the leaves and rain to drain to the bottom and run out. I put these at the end of the spout, to keep the chipmunks and other 4 legged creatures from running up into the spout and prevent damage. They work well and I am able to adjust them by squeezing gently so that they fit our openings. I appreciate the gloves that are included, as the wires are sharp. When they fill up with leaves, I remove the guards and shake them out and replace them.

Update 5-2021: I had these in my downspouts. It isn't fall time yet with all the leaves falling but, did have a bout of pine pollen here in GA. These may stop debris from going down the downspout but, they clog up in the gutter where water can't get through. So water builds up in your gutters and puts a lot of weight on them. And then it rains and water just flows over the gutters.I had to get my ladder, clean all the garbage from around these guards and pull them out.I'd rather take the chance of downspouts clogging than have my gutters pulled down from all the water weight.Weather finally warmed up so I could clean out my gutters and put these downspout guards in.They do come with a pair of gloves. On the right glove are hard plastic claw like finger tips.I honestly don't know why the finger claws were necessary. They get in the way more than help to put these guards in. I finally took them off and just put on a regular pair of garden gloves.I had a little trouble getting a couple of these in. My shingles come down a bit lower than my roof so part of the gutter is covered. But, these guards easily can be rolled a bit so they're smaller.These downspout guards are strong metal but luckily they are pliable enough to roll up to make installation a little easier.Once in the downspout you just work the guard so it expands a little to fit into the downspout hole.Because all leaves are off the trees now, I won't see exactly how well these work until the fall season.Cleaning downspouts are so tedious, messy, and time consuming.I can see how these guards will stop any leaves from going down the downspouts. I just have to wait and see how well they work.

Wire mesh not sealed at top so when it expands so does hole at top for rodents to enter. Purpose was to create a barrier so ineffective.

Pricey for pieces of screen metal, but if it saves me from roof damage, will see

There’s nothing complex about this product. Just does the job without fuss. The gloves are a nice touch and keeps the muck off your hands effectively.

Sehr praktisch sind diese Drahtgitter um zu verhindern dass in das Fallrohr der ganze Dreck gespült wird.Wenn es verstopft merkt man erst wenn es zu spät ist.Mit diesen Drahtgitterkörben verhindert man zumindest den größeren Teilen wie Blätter, Tannenzapfen und Moos (dies picken Krähen bei uns vom Dach und schmeißen es rum) den Zugang zum Abwasserrohr.Die Drahtgeflechte sind von ca. 6cm bis um die 10cm dehnbar und passen sich somit den gängigen Dachrinnenrohren an.Bei Benutzung von solchen Gittern muss nur noch ab und zu kontrolliert werden und man braucht keine Angst vor Verstopfung mehr zu haben.Als Beilage sind 2 Gartenhandschuhe dabei. Einer davon mit Schaufelkrallen.Die sind klasse. Ich habe schon solche mit Krallen und es ist echt eine Erleichterung.Man kann graben wie ein Maulwurf.

These should be narrower at bottom 2 inches to fit in downspout and then bulge out a bit , above , not a good fit. Gloves are unnecessary added cost not needed.
