This is more than perfect, it fixed all the issues I was having with the aprs-k1 pro, ptt was super easy and works very well with both vara and sound modem, I have not tried with direwolf yet but I expect it to work fine with that as well, overall it is a much simpler way to integrate digital and data on analog only radiosTested on TYT TH 9800D, Baofeng ar-152 as well as many uv-5r and 5g variants with no issues on ptt

I needed a way to connect my hp laptop to my Yaesu FT-818 transceiver so that I could do digital radio. I purchased a Digirig unit along with a cable to connect it to my FT-818. I connected it all altogether and after some software setup it worked just fine. I am using it with WSJT-X and Fldigi. They both work well with Digirig.I also purchased the cable to connect it to a BAOFENG 5RX handheld radio. That also worked but the FT-818 is a much better radio so I normally use it. The main problem with the BAOFENG is that the receiver seems to get overloaded if connected to good outdoor antenna and does not receive well.Digirig also provides an output to program the radio and a cable is provided to do this. This also worked and provides a additional useful function.I highly recommend Digirig as a digital interface between a computer and a radio. It is a very nice and easy way to do digital radio using a very small well-designed unit.

Durable and can work with multiple radios. Pin outs and connections may be different so different cords are needed. Easy to change settings. Support is easy to find online. Worked first try on a xiegu g90 for flrig and wsjtx.

Using with AT778UV. Connected and off it went. Works right out of the box. Love the simple package with information link printed right on the box.

Hey there! Just wanted to let you know that I've been shooting some awesome videos on how to use APRS from both iOS and Android. It's not sending any audio, even though it can still receive it. I've tried a few different radios, but no luck. If you have any suggestions or know of a possible replacement, please let me know. I'm using it with a Xiegu G90 and this device and included cables work perfectly. HINT: When installing the small round connector into the back of the G90, it can be difficult to find the correct alignment. Once I got the connector in and seated, I partially pulled the plug out and marked the top of the silver barrel with a permanent marker. Now I know how it goes in when I'm looking at the front of the radio.

I love DigiRig for its compact form factor and ease of employment. I have four of these now for my multiple radios. Great solution for working digital.
