The refoam kit fit perfectly.

I used these surrounds to refurb a classic Advent speaker. I only needed one, as the one of the speakers I purchased had already been refoamed. The process was simple, but not easy. The biggest problem was removing the old foam surround. In my case, no razor knife could remove the the old glue. I had to use a wire-wheel drill attachment. It made a mess, but in the end I was able to glue the new surround successfully. And the refurbed Advents are magnificent! This is a great product with the best ingredients.

I just finished installing the Foam Surrounds and my 45 year old Advents sound as good as they were way back when. The installation required some careful work and can't be rushed but it is certainly doable if you follow the directions and review the several YouTube vids on the exact installation. I live in an arid environment so waiting for the glue to tact up took far less time than recommended so just be aware if you are also in an arid climate. During the process I noticed another small damaged area on the speaker cone and I contacted Springfield Speaker and received an immediate reply with their recommendation for that repair as well. Great product, great company!

The product worked well. I was surprised on how easy it went. The instructions are clear and concise with pictures. I have a pair of Advent Legacies that the foam had deteriorated. I was looking for new replacement speakers not knowing that this was an option. I hooked them up and was very pleased with the results. Speakers sound great at all volumes. Great solution.

The kit worked well, even in the hands of a not too handy person like myself. My only problem was that the glue dried much more quickly than the directions indicated, leaving me unable to move and position (center) the surround as well as I would have liked.Even so, the speakers sound great after my repair.

Can't believe that replacing the old foam got rid of the "crackling" i've been listening to for years. Watched a few you tube vids and did it myself. Fairly easy to replace, just be sure to keep testing that it's centered properly...and no need to get a tone generator to test for centering.

This worked out really well. I would buy it again for future repairs.

The folks at Springfield have been so very helpful. I could not find anyone to re-foam my speakers. I did it myself. I also ordered their phone device to center the speakers. now I need to order a set for my baby advents.
