I wish I would’ve had this doll back in the 70s and 80s. I love this doll! I wanted her last year when I found the LHOTP book set in hardcover, but the doll was sold out. I’m so glad she came back in stock. LHOTP has always been a favorite of mine. I grew up reading the Laura Ingalls Wilder books and watching the TV series. The doll is very beautiful. She has pretty brown hair and she seems to be quite sturdy. Laura comes in a very pretty nightgown with a bonnet and a small rag doll, quilt and pillow. I also purchased Laura’s pretty green dress and bonnet and her boots. I also purchased the beautiful wooden stand that is offered to display her on. Very, very happy with purchase. She arrived earlier than expected.

This doll is of a very fine quality. Her face is beautiful. She comes in her jammies that are adorable. I appreciated that she is in a box that my granddaughters can put all of her accessories in when they aren't playing with her. I purchased a doll for each of my granddaughters since they are enamored with Laura Ingalls. Can't wait for Christmas.

I bought this doll for myself, as this is the doll I wish had existed as a small child in the 70s who loved watching Little House. I couldn't resist! I also own the American Girl Kaya, so I can compare. Overall, the doll is beautiful, not quite to the level of American Girl in quality, but worth the money. She is a bit thinner and has slightly smaller feet than Kaya. They are the same height. A few other things I noticed:1) The hair is almost too silky and a few inches shorter than it should be, so the braids don't stay in very easily and there are many fly-aways coming out of the braids no matter what I do. Not major though. The bottom of her hair could be cut more evenly too. Note that, like the Kaya doll, Laura has a wig, so there are tiny little short hairs along the part to hide the wig part. No, her hair will not look right worn down. Best to keep it in braids or ponytails and keep the brush away from the scalp when styling.2) Her legs are flimsy and all over the place. She can't stand easily on her own like the AG dolls, and will not even come close to sitting ladylike. If you close her legs after sitting it works fine, just like the AG dolls.3) The quilt is adorable and beautifully made, but pretty narrow. A few more inches in width would be an improvement.Even so, I highly recommend the doll and look forward to getting the rest of the collection. If buying for a child, the hair might be an issue, but not more so than the AG dolls.

Everything about this doll is just right! The clothes are lovely and it is so good that it comes with accessories.

Although pricey, all of the products in this line are of good quality and are sure to thrill any lover of the Little House on the Prairie series.
