It worked very well.
I ordered this, expecting it to be a pain in the hiney to use, but I was wrong. I chose the width to match the table edge that I needed to repair, and the width was perfect. No sanding to fit! I tool my scrap piece from the damaged table edge and matched the stain color and glossiness at Home Depot. I came home and cut a piece to match the patch area (using a razor blade). This where I expected have problems: getting the glue to stick. I was wrong. Using the household iron on a cotton setting (dry), I quickly glued the 8 inch repair section in place. I thought the curve in the veneer would cause it to lift while the glue was still hot, but it didn't. After allowing it to cool, I lightly sanded it, then stained it to match. It took a couple passes with the stain to get it dark enough, but the end result was a pretty damned good match. I masked it off and sprayed a Varithane semi-gloss over th top, and it was done. Now, does anyone want to buy a table?

Great to renovate cabinets
Used veneer to cover areas that could not be replaced by oak plywood. Looks great and stained easily to match other oak cabinet doors.

My favorite veneer supplier now!
I absolutely love this company! I do a lot of wood projects- and this company has saved my house! Their veneer is easy to work with, strong, and absolutely beautiful! I’ve used paper back and their psa veneer - and I can’t complain about ANYTHING! A few Pieces that arrived damage bc shipping- customer service swiftly replaced the entire pieces- and even over nighted the replacements- despite it not being their fault it was damaged. I won’t be switching “my wood provider” for a LONG time.

This is high quality. I like the extra width as I used it on 3/4" oak plywood. It matched the plywood perfectly. I used a professional cutter to trim it up and then light sanding did the trick. I used an old clothes iron set on one notch from the hottest possible. I went over it and then used a dowel to rub it down flat and then slightly over the edges. I went over each piece a total of three times. I even had to go over a rounded portion on the end of a Wall-Bed and it held very well. I highly recommend this banding.

Not Easy
This product is delicate and did not react uniform to my stain. This is natural wood product and I had some problems using contact cement to hold in place. Take your time when using this product and it should work out.

Wood veneer
Wood grain wasn't realistic believe it or not it was too uniform in design
