Either old thread or just plain cheap. Breaks if you try to do any gathering work. Color is beautiful though.

As expected, this thread has lovely sheen and colour. On my screen anyway, the colour in the image was very true to the colour I received, and thus matched my fabric perfectly, so I could not be happier. You can't go wrong with the classics.

true to color (but when you're matching color, go with the color code, in this case 3066). Hasn't broken on me yet, works well in both my normal sewing machine and my serger. What else can you say? If you need purple thread, this is a great item!
