A great book on behaviour economics and finance.It explains the attributes which can be controlled by an investor.If one thing from this book I would like to take with me to the grave will be to let time work in my favor.

It’s simple & compressive. No jargons. Simple English to explain one of the most complicated subject money and investments.It’s a must read.

One of the best books in my investing journey

Excellent read. Amid all the noises what to buy, what price to buy... The book explains the importance of maintaining a portfolio view on your total investment...a must have in your library..., and worth going over every 3 to 6 months to maintain the equilibrium in the portfolio.....

It's a good book that covers most of the basics of investing and provides a nice all round view so that you cna define you own approach.

Just completed reading. So far the best book on Investments for retail investors (I have a library of over 30 popular investment books). It is deep and thoughtful. Must read for all retail investors - new or veteran. Insights are simply superb.

My partner and I both agree this is one of the best books on investing we have read to date. It really is a wealth of common sense. I saw it recommended by Couch Potato investing (an ETF investment site), the site owner/advisor saying it was the best investment book he'd read in years. The information in this book is well worth the book's price. It's a must read for all investors.

A great introduction to the world of investing. Written in plain English it's very accessible to readers without much financial experience, and is packed with many genuinely useful, practical insights. If you're looking for the latest get rich quick scheme this isn't the book for you, but if you're new to investing and want down-to-earth advice on how to craft an investment plan which will serve you for years to come, including how to avoid the mistakes that many people make along the way, then I heartily recommend this book.

This is a great book for either an investing novice or a seasoned professional. Being a former middle school teacher I understand how difficult it can be to explain complex information in an understandable way without being insulting to your audience. The author receives an A+ in accomplishing his goal. The information is presented with humility and humor. Ben Carlson checks his ego at the door and boils things down to what is really important to investors. Keep things simple, automate your process and understand that there is nothing guaranteed when investing money. Carlson provides plenty of interesting and valuable data to back up his claims. He also relates investing to many other subjects. He gives examples from such wide ranging topics from the sports world to the prison system to make his points more relevant and understandable to the reader, Though I am a professional money manager, I learned a great deal from this book in both new material and different ways to reinforce concepts I was already aware of. If you are looking for a jargon free, readable, and entertaining book that wont take you forever to read, this is for you. This would also make a great holiday or birthday present for a young person. I highly recommend purchasing, reading, and sharing this book.
