Great little light, compared to SF Sidekick
This is a great little light! I also have the SF Sidekick and each has its own strengths. The Nitecore has a better 2-button interface, where you can power up the light in the 1-lumen mode or go directly to the 360-lumen turbo mode. During charging it is discreet, the internal LED going from red to green when charged. My only real complaint is that while SF chose an LED driver that can run at 300 lumens constantly, this light can only maintain 360 lumens for perhaps a minute, depending on ambient temperature, before throttling down to the 150 lumen high mode. This could explain the much lower price. The 150 lumen high mode is still very useful, and still impressive for such a small light.

Great keychain flashlight - Already paid for itself on the first night, avoiding nocturnal creatures
The first night I received this I did a late night run to Walmart. While walking out to my car, I saw a shadow underneath and with my Nitecore TIP found a huge raccoon (medium dog sized) sitting there underneath my car just staring at me. The brightest setting on the flashlight made it scamper away.I will have this light (Nitecore TIP) with me always. I don't know what it is, but through the years I am always walking upon stuff late at night mostly animals and snakes (rattlesnakes), as a result I always try to carry a flashlight on me.PROs: -The settings are great and simple/intuitive to use: low, medium, high and hold it for brightest -Just the right size before becoming awkward on your key chain -Put an 8-10 inch length of gorilla tape on it (You will have to trim off 1/4 inch length-ways to fit properly) -Solidly built, I don't feel like through my keys on the counter will break itCONs: - To load balance, you may have to remove something from your keys - Not a con per se, I would feel better if the charger port had a coverNOTE: I have not had any bad/good experience with the Power lock feature, but I don't really use it either (Just keep it on lowest setting)My key-chain: -4 Keys (Car key, house, mail, and another misc key) -Nitecore TIP Black -MyKee Titanium Multi-Tool -Gerber Curve Multi-tool

Lock function sucks
THERE IS ONE GIANT GAPING PROBLEM WITH THIS LIGHT.it's a fantastic bright little light. Seriously, great. Sturdy, nice rechargeable battery. Everything I could have hoped for. But just know that if you intend to use this light as a key chain, the lock function is incredibly broken. It will drain your battery within a week.Other than that, fantastic light.

Exceptional micro light,
Incredibly unit for the price, does all that is advertises and has perfect run time for its size. I have multiple of these and bought them all for my family on Christmas after owning my first for about 2 months. These are absolutely amazing micro lights. In this class the Nitecore TIP and the SureFire Sidekick have serious pro's and cons, the Tip is 1/3 the run time but 60 more Lumens, the Sidekick has a soft white tint (slightly yellow) where the Tip is bright white. They both put out a Flod type light but are good at 10 meters, at highest power output. Both have heat dissipation issues but hey, this is a TINY light putting out more light than many spot light type camping lights so this is to be expected. Even so they are both incredible and I will give the Sidekick 5 stars too, it just boils down to your needs. and for me I own both, the Sidekick for longer run times, and the TIP for the quick high output, and I love them both. The big difference for most users however, the price. The TIP averaging $30.00 USD and the Sidekick averaging $75.00 USD brings many to buy the Tip first, do not worry, you will NOT be dissatisfied as the light is crazy bright even in medium mode, where I expect most will leave the light for normal use.Thank you

NOT FOR IN YOUR POCKET
This could have been an awesome light. But if you carry your key chain light in your pocket with your keys this thing will accidentally come on about daily, often at full power other times at a lower power. The problem could be easily solved by the manufacturer by making the buttons flush with the body, or raising up a frame around the buttons or recessing them so that it isn't so incredibly easy for the buttons to get pushed when sitting down or squating etc. If you hang your keys and light on your belt or belt loop or elsewhere outside your pocket you should be fine.I'm really glad I still have my NitecoreSENS. This problem isn't possible with that light.

New improved lockout on light.
When I first got this light a few months ago, I was disappointed in the battery life. It seemed to have a terrible battery life of one week, without being used. However, after reading comments by other buyers, it was the lockout function that was faulty, and would drain the battery.. I purchased mine from LUMEN tactical, and contacted them via email through Amazon. James Maurer in customer support made it painless to exchange my "old" model for the new one, where the lockout feature does not drain the battery. 10 Stars for LUMEN tactical and their employees. I just received my replacement in the mail, hence the 4 stars.. but if the lockout feature does as expected.. I will update my review in a week or so.Regardless, of the light, I am impressed with Lumen tactical, and would continue to do business with them, without hesitation.

Velcro it to your hard hat! Perfect light.
I keep this little guy on a clip on my belt and use it on the job site all the time. Very easy to just turn on and point without having to dig around in a bag, pockets, or leave and waste time finding a light. Best of all I put Velcro on the back of it and on my hard hat. Now whenever I have to go into a confined space on an impromptu occasion I can just unclip it from my belt and stick it to my hard hat. Plenty of light and it lasts a good long while. It has been on me in downpours and while using a firehose and pressure washing. It has been completely soaked as well as myself and still works. I don't think I would feel comfortable completely submerging it though. It's a tough guy and I really like it. My electrician buddy recommended it and I'm so glad I bought it. Makes my job so much easier when I need light at the worst times.

Extremely bright and long lasting
I dont know if it is a knockoff or not. I choose to believe the product is genuine. The batteries are great and last as long as advertised. I dont have a light meter but this thing will blind you if you look at the reflection. I use as a keychain safety device for lighting dark areas and potentially to shine in someones eyes if i feel threatened in a parking lot or similar situation. Have tested its blinding power by randomly flashing my co-workers. They all turn their eyes away from me now when i walk down our hallways so it clearly does blind people. I say it is a great purchase and the seller got it to me very quickly.Update 06-01-2017 - Has this for 1/2 year now. Black paint is coming off all of the edges due to rubbing in pockets, next to keyts etc. Not an issue. The light still works great. Holds a charge forever. Only issue is twice now i have somehow turned it on in my pocket. Then it was on high mode and i felt like my leg was on fire. Quickly got it out and turned off. I'm sure there is a lock out feature i am just not using.

Kind of disapointing for the price
This flashlight is OK. You're paying for the compact size and ease of recharging. As an actual flashlight it's kind of mediocre. You can buy flashlights that take a single AA for 1/4 the price that will do as well but at a larger size.

Go Ahead, Buy it. You won't regret it.
This thing is amazing. Finally, I can start on low, I can start on high. I can lock it out and I can charge it off any micro USB. On low it is perfect for reading in the dark or when you don't want to throw a lot of light while looking for something. On High it is as brighter than a mag light.Go ahead. Buy it. You won't regret it. It is worth every penny.

Picked up a couple of these; delivery time was reasonable and the recipients were awestruck by these bad boys. Good seller and awesome product.
