Penny Floor Tile Template/Jig (plexiglass) - Without Border

We are in the process of creating our "penny tiles" now for our floor. This is a huge time saver and is great to make sure the pennies are evenly spaced. I wouldn't recommend doing a penny floor (or counter) without it.

Item was as described and definitely made it easier to lay the pennies for our penny floor but you can still very easily run off, even using the template. Not sure if it would have helped to keep the template oriented the same way each time or what, but by the end we had to manually adjust the lines of pennies because they didn't line up perfectly.

If you’re thinking of buying this, do it. You won’t regret it. Cut the time and effort involved in my project by at least 90%!

just buy the kind on the mesh. I thought this would help for the extra areas but it was the wrong size and distance. Overpriced and useless. Don't bother

Great idea... Unfortunately the plexiglass is taller than a penny, so unless you lay a single penny at a time, 2 pennies end up sitting on the same space. It's time consuming, when I was really hoping I could just dump a pile of pennies on it, make sure there's only 1 per hole, and then sweep the rest off. It will help make a nicely spaced floor, though.

Some of the holes are a little small so when you put glue down they stick. You have to continually wash it between applications because the glue gets everywhere. Much easier than hand laying them.

This will save you a ton of time and make everything look even. I only did a 2 x 6 rectangle but it made everything so much easier. I put the template down and put a drop of glue in every opening and laid the penny down. Turned out so well. I only deducted one star due to the price. I thing $50 is a bit much for a plastic template.

These make the work much easier. They’re very expensive but no place else has them
