Great boots. Sizing is tricky tho
Let me first say that I think these boots are going to be really great. I just got them yesterday, so I will update in a few months after I’ve had a chance to break them in and wear them. The sizing is incredibly confusing. I’ve also discovered that these boots run large. I wear a women’s size 11 to 11 1/2. Originally, I ordered a pair of Redbacks that have a size 9 on the cloth tag at the ankle. According to the size chart, this would have been a US 11 womens, or a 10 mens. I tried them on though, and they were huge. I decided to return them and bought an 8.5 Australian. I took out the insert and put in a pair of Dr. Scholls gel inserts to make them more comfortable. I’ve been wearing them around the house and they are comfortable, but I can tell they definitely need to be broken in. I am wearing them with a thin wool sock. I don’t plan to wear these for work in the winter and snow unless I can get a heated insert in. My plan for these is to keep them as more of a fall/summer/spring work boot.

Mechanic husband
My mechanic husband bought these since other guys at work swore by them and he loves them. He says they’re not the coolest looking shoes with his mechanic shorts but that is the only complaint he has had. Super great quality and comfortable. He bought his usual size and they fit great.

The Most Confortable Boots I Own
Can't speak to anyone else's order, but the boots are received are Red back "Bobcat" model - these are simple, comfortable boots that required no break in. The sizing is exactly how described in the product listing. I wear U.S size 9.5 or 10, and the AUS 8.5 size fit perfectly, as described on Red Back's YouTube page. They slip on and off with no trouble, and the side elastic feels stout and durable. They are certainly a tougher, less formal, less fashionable looking boot than the Blundstones. I hit them with some regular black shoe polish like I do with any new black boots (see my pic, the un-polished, box new shoe is on the left) and they look fantastic. I'm so impressed with them I'm buying a second, tan pair next fall....

Fits perfectly. Very beautiful sole. Would be better if the leather finishing had some shine on it. It's a little too dull.

Very Comfortable, great work boot!
Must be broken in but I wear these all day, everyday, work & home. They are the most comfortable boots I've ever had. I'm an electrician, on my feet all day long. These last me 1.5-2 years then I buy a new pare. Be patient though, they take a week or two to break in then they're amazing. When I get a new pare, I'll wear them for an hour or so, then put my old boots back on and I switch on/off until the new ones are worn in and comfortable. I've been buying these for 15 years now and I will never buy any other boots. My firefighter friends recommended them to me, everyone at the station swore by them and they were right.
