I bought these mainly for mixed media/collage. They're great for applying gel medium and smoothing glued areas. I do wish they were a lot more flexible. They're quite stiff. They worked well for gesso.

I bought these to spread glue on paper and cardboard. They work really well for that and are easy to clean. I think they work best for something with paste consistency.

I do a lot of paper collage art and use a ton of glue and other clear mediums. I love using these silicon brushes to apply glue instead of my "good" brushes. They apply the glue/medium beautifully and clean up is a breeze - even when the glue has dried - just peel it off and you're ready to go again. They are also great for applying paint in bold swaths similar to a catalyst wedge tool.
