Amazing self-defense tool
This is an amazingly effective, yet simple device. I had previously carried a Kubotan but found it cumbersome and difficult to conceal in my pocket and so stopped using it. The Stinger is the perfect alternative. It fits wonderfully on a keychain, is light as a feather and fits fine in a pocket. It is also very comfortable in the hand, lining up perfectly in a fist. Though I've not had to apply it in a self-defense situation (thank goodness), I have no doubt of its abilities. I have tested the Stinger against a tree, a wood beam and even a brick wall. The result? No damage whatsoever and my hand was unscathed in each instance. Try doing that with a fist!!! Oh, and by the way, I have training in the martial arts of Kenpo, Shorin-ryu, Taekwondo and combatives, so I know the proper way to hit. Yet I feel much, much more capable with one of these gems in my hand. My plan is to purchase more of these for the members of my family. I don't know why more people don't carry these. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

The Comtech Stinger is a force multiplier.
The Comtech Stinger is a force multiplier. It takes all of the force of a punch and concentrates it into the tip of the tool. I bought 3 pink ones; one for my wife, and one for both of my daughters. They have them on the key chains, and they do not obviously look like a self-defense tool. Now they hold the Comtech Stinger in their hands while walking to their cars instead of their car keys extending past their closed fist. I was so impressed with this force multiplier that I bought one in clear for my key ring. The clear Stinger is very inconspicuous when I'm holding it in my hand.

Great Very Effective Product
I have been carrying a stinger for years, and over time have given them to friends as family. My wife is 5' and petite, and does not want to carry a firearm. We did some experiments and I can assure you that this force multiplier was very effective in defending against much larger aggressors.

It fits in my pocket on my key chain. I sometimes think it should be a touch longer. When I make a fist with it in my hand it is comfortable but the nub that sticks out is less then a 1/2 inch. I am sure if someone is hit with this in my fist they will feel it however. The ring that attaches this to my key chain is flimsy and if I were to improve anything for sure it would be the ring. The size of the nub I am on the fence with it.Good quality product

Lights Out!
Simple and designed for safety. Although, questions arise from the shape and look of this little guy it does make for a good laugh! I'll take that over not having this close by for the sake of keeping my family safe. In addition, this keeps me from reaching for my other protective measure that would be a "game changer" and that may not be needed at the time.

This will work just fine...
I picked this item up for an easily concealed weapon that was made of non ferris materials. I have studied a myriad of "Martial Arts" over the course of my lifetime. I was getting into pressure points and the study of the meridians they are contained in. That is exactly what this item is used for; to penetrate and exert the most damage when used to strike pressure points on an opponent. If you are looking for a light, easily concealed Kubotan this will work just fine.

I hate that the type advertises "combat" right on it
I hate that the type advertises "combat" right on it. Not really going to sneak this by TSA if they read it. It does not allow you to make a fist as the length to the finger holds is too deep. Yes, it will hurt like heck, but watch some videos online. you might run an extra risk of breaking a finger.
