A study stick shows step by step instructions. This is more like a small totem pole. It has 6 faces to give you ideas and a booklet that is not very informative. I will continue to buy carving instructions but they won't be Harold Enlow products.

Coordination of pictures and text left a lot to be desired. In my opinion hard to follow although it was helpful overall.

These books DO NOT come with study sticks nor does the company send them to you when issuing a complaint. I bought all the books for all of the individual studies and not one single study stick came with it. when I complained about it, the company producing the books said "oh, we ran out!" I've been contacting them for several years now to send them too me and they now just ignore the letters.
