Didax Interlocking Base Ten Blocks, Multicolor

We love that these snap together. Its easier to see the concept of 10 base system. They seem to be welled made too.

These function just like they should and they actually click together if you want them to. I personally don't like to use the click together feature but my son does and that's what matters because we homeschool. This really helps him visualize quantities.

When I was teaching in elementary, I knew how important these base 10 blocks were for primary math (1-3). Initially, I was disappointed that they were hollow, not solid like what I was used to in schools. However, they are sturdy, click together relatively easily for a grown-up, and do the job. My child is always very excited to use them with her first grade curriculum at home. Manipulatives really reach other parts of a child’s brain, that explaining and pictures cannot do. I recommend these.

Shipped on time and in good packaging. Seems extremely durable. They are all interlocking which is great for working with base ten mats. The different colors really helped separate them. Awesome learning tool!

I love this product. My son was struggling with place value when it came to adding and subtracting. Snapping pieces and taking away pieces to provide a visual really helped him understand. This isn’t a big set, but it is perfect for us. If you have more than one student not sure it would work for you. Also it stores nicely in the box and doesnt take up a lot of room. Again interlocking feature is AMAZING!

Works well for helping explain concepts to youngesters I just which it had more yellow ones or that the tens units had the ability to break apart into ones to make it easier to show concepts

Our tutor loved these. They worked great and were easy to use! Would recommend these to anyone.

No matter what, if you have a child in school, they will have to understand these blocks.I bought them for my brother's grand child and the person tutoring her didn't use them and when she got to school, she got marked down on a homework assignment because they expected her to draw all of the little blocks. Her mother asked the teacher, "Why does she need to draw all of these little blocks if she could do the math and get the right answer?"The answer is that it was the homework assignment and because she hadn't been exposed enough to these blocks, she didn't understand the assignment and had the teacher call her mother.

Acheté pour aider mon fils avec ses devoirs et je crois ce sera bien utile à long terme considérant qu'il est seulement en 2eme année :)

Muy buen recurso para facilitar la comprensión del valor posicional. Le doy 4 estrellas porque 2 piezas de las centenas venían quebradas de la esquina (son figuras huecas, no sólidas) por el material que yo calificaría de duración intermedia. Por lo demás, buen producto.

Really good learning resource for place value! I'm glad I got this one. The fact that each value is a different color is genius.

I use it to visually explain math problems. It really helps. I highly recommend especially for expanded math.
