I thought that the wearing off of the black paint would happen to these, but not this quickly. I checked these regularly since I'm the sole driver of my jeep. My driver side looked like it was holding up. I rarely have passengers so there's less usage on that side. Ironically, the passenger side with the least wear, is the side wear the paint peeling is occurring. See photos..

They were a little tricky to install because the bottom of my jeep (where these go) is not completely flat. So far they are adhearing pretty well. We'll see how well they hold up. The back set is a little smaller than what I thought they'd be, but over all they look very nice.

The black stars and lines do not hold up to Georgia heat. Within a week of installing they have disintegrated. The metal is heavy duty and appears that it will be long lasting. I just have to figure out what to use to highlight the Stars and Stripes details.

Really nice Billet part, but the double sided tape is not good enough and surface is not perfectly flat to stick them on, add clear silicone and hold down with some masking tape for 24 hours
